This brush packs in all of the latest features and technology from Oral-B including Bluetooth connectivity for the Oral-B app, toothbrushing timers, pressure sensor and multiple brushing settings.
First, I go through the box and show you all of the extras that come with the brush. There's pretty cool extras like:
- Three brush heads included
- Travel case that charges your brush (and phone!) via USB
- Charging station with brush caddy
You'll also find out how to use the Genius Electric Toothbrush so that you can brush like a pro!

Thank you for this review! I went with the 8000 since the other bling wasn't me, but the same brush and BT features. First brush of this type for myself, hoping to get better results since I'm an avid coffee/tea drinker and tend to be a hard brusher. I truly thank you for being thorough and honest about this. 😁

@@MethodDental Yes! Just got it in yesterday! I cannot believe how much difference these brushes make! I used the flossing head to start. Instant happiness and my teeth haven't been this clean since my last appointment. I just said goodbye to my manual brushes. I didn't use the app yet but followed the 30 sec timing. I only got one red light warning as well (I admit I was timid). Thank you again for this review! Awesome! 🤗😁😆👌💯

I just bought one today in an effort to better my habits, but when I try to pair the brush, it pairs fine but then it tries to pair with a "smart charger", and I don't see any mention of that in the directions, and I have no idea what that is, and I can't skip it so basically 90% of what I just bought doesn't work. 😞 Any help would be appreciated! Can't find anything on Google either.

I got one without the Bluetooth and I actually spent much longer time brushing my teeth than normal toothbrushes, by the way thank you so much for your contents I always wanted legit information on teeth cleaning. I am looking for to watch another video of you talking about how we can legitimately get whiter teeth (not the hismile)

I got a oral b 1000 for 40 and it works perfectly saw results right away. Would recommend but this one looks really cool

Yeah any Oral-B electric toothbrush with a 2 minute timer and pressure sensor like the 1000 is a great choice! 🙌

Just purchased it as it was down to nearly £100 plus the accessories with it that come in the box are well worth it. Did my first brush and it just feels so much better than using a normal non electric toothbrush.

Sorry for the late response! I recommend Oral-B electric toothbrushes as they actually have evidence that they remove more plaque than manual toothbrushes whereas other brands of electric toothbrushes do not have the evidence just yet. If you find an Oral-B electric toothbrush with a pressure sensor and maybe a few different settings (gentle setting as well as normal) then I say buy it!

I used to brush with manual brush until I got oral b vitality with criss cross head I tried it and fell in love it . It’s deep clean made made teeth whiter than before . As I have dental brackets in my 🦷 they clean even on them when a manual brush has fail for so many year . But sadly my dream came to end when I no longer was able buy replacement heads 😔. So still keep the brush with me waiting for replacement heads to be able to reach me .

certain people may like the 30 second a quarter mouth brushing signal , but your best by the laws of gravity to do 60 bottom/40 top as bottom is where 60% of your mouth waste goes , hey and i am no dentist, or toothbrush engineer . you got that tip free

This model in the video. You can buy replacement heads on Amazon compatible with this device. Highly recommend. I had thr burst toothbrush before this one an tooth paste was getting under the head even through inwas cleaning it, it would turn to mold don't recommend Burst toothbrush anymore unfortunately 😕. I'm doing oral B now

I definitely brush too hard and in the wrong way. My gums are beginning to receed as an result. :/ might not get this particular electric toothbrush. But sounds like itll help if I change to an electric toothbrush 😫

It's a very common problem - brushing too hard. So don't feel bad about yourself. Any Oral-B electric toothbrush with a pressure sensor should help to make sure you aren't brushing away your gums in the future 😊

honestly get a mid range sonic or braun with the longest warranty and sensibly priced replacement heads for about 50 £ THAT SAYS IT WAS ORIGINALLY £ 150 I am not bothered in taking my expensive phone in the bathroom ,so the nerdy tec is not needed

U could first wet the brush and smir the paste all over your teeth and then activate whichever mode you desire (and it a more effective way of cleaning since u basically have an equal portion of paste spread all over your teeth*

Sorry for the late reply - I assume you mean the handle got wet? They are designed to be water-resistant so that you can clean them safely, so I think it should be fine 😊

Depends where you live Sofia - in Australia, its full price is around $350 but it's often on sale for half price at Shaver Shop or sometimes Chemist Warehouse. Otherwise, you don't have to get this particular model and can get a different Oral-B electric toothbrush with 2 minute timer and pressure sensor for around $100 😊

Yeah the app doesn't add much to the effectiveness of the brush and I haven't used it (the app) since this review. Maybe in the future it becomes a bit more seamless and worthwhile?

Hi Lex! As a dentist, I am concerned that the instructional videos by Oral-B do not make it clear that the brush head doesn't wrap all the way around each tooth. They simply place the brush head on the side of the tooth and do not appear to attempt to brush in between the teeth at all. Because the brush head doesn't automatically go between the teeth, I use a gentle back and forth motion to enable this action. I am not using a scrubbing motion and the toothbrush itself has a pressure sensor to make sure that I am not brushing too hard. I hope that makes sense 😊

Hi Srujan! I've had a look at a few products like Amabrush and unfortunately, because they are not customised to the shape of your teeth or your mouth, they simply cannot be very good... Electric toothbrushes, like Oral-B ones, can help you to brush better, even if you can't follow the instructions perfectly. Soon, I hope to have a detailed instructional video on how to brush properly up on KZfaq 😊

These Oral-B electric toothbrushes actually do have a rotation and backwards/forwards motion called oscillation! There are electric toothbrushes out there that vibrate with a "sonic" action - these aren't like that.
