As a long term thyroid patient (nodule removed, taking tsh suppressing thyroid hormone therapy), I'm trying to find out more information on remineralizing and the effect of flouride in the oral cavity on my thyroid function/medication/any other effects. I'm not having luck, is this something you have or will address?

Why we give steroid in both hyper and hypo thyroid while steroid stop thyroid hormone releasing
@krishanpal26403 жыл бұрын
Hie Sir i have a confusion regarding the iv hydrocortisone medication in hypothyroidism as it inhibits thyroid hormone release then why this steroid is used in hypothyroidism treatment please answer me soon
@mentaldental3 жыл бұрын
Great question. IV hydrocortisone is given in case there is coexistent adrenal insufficiency, since Addisonian crisis and myxedematous coma share a lot of the same symptoms.
