ORAL ROBERTS -- Sowing & Reaping the harvest, part 1
Zaaien & Oogsten een principe in de natuurlijke wereld, maar ook in het koninkrijk van God.
Bedenkt dit: wie karig zaait, zal ook karig oogsten, en wie mildelijk zaait, zal ook mildelijk oogsten. (2 Kor 9:6) - Want wie op (de akker van) zijn vlees zaait, zal uit zijn vlees verderf oogsten, maar wie op (de akker van) de Geest zaait, zal uit de Geest eeuwig leven oogsten. (Gal 6:8)
Dr. Oral Roberts (oprichter van de ORU universiteit) gaf veel les in het principe van zaaien & oogsten. Hij wordt gezien als de man die de term "seedfaith" onder de aandacht bracht.
Hieronder 2 clips. In Clip 1 verteld hij, hoe hij als prediker van een arm kerkje in een boerenstreek tot het principe zaaien en oogsten kwam. PART 1 gaat over zaaien en Part 2 gaat over oogsten.

They always say that "God doesn't need your money", still they want you to give. I will not sponsor their luxurious life styles any more. I had enough when Benny Hinn spent $ 25.000 /night (!!!) on luxury suits in Dubai. Mission money!

@@anna-lenameijer9942 how can God bless you if you sow with that mentality? Or do you think that when you sow to man that man blesses you. It is the blessing of God that makes you rich and He adds no sorrow to it. If i could give you some advise if you sow so as if you sow unto God and leave the seed with God even though you sow into a earthly pastors ministry. NO pastor can multiply your seed only God can and if you decide not to sow anymore how can God multiply your seed. You have to let go of what is in your hand so that God can replace it with a harvest blessing. God provides seed to the sower. Its better to give than to receive, accumulate your blessings in heaven were the thief and moth cannot destroy it. Do not let the devil steel your mind and seed, God will bless your obedience

@@irvinmurrish4245 But it’s become the entire message by some people, they never preach salvation only investing and seed faith giving. I read the book I was raised in Tulsa Oklahoma and I was one of the first persons on 24 hour Christian TV, i know exactly what I’m talking about I grew up in the Charismatic Movement, because my message actually does come from the love of God. I love people and even if we offer our body’s to be burned for a living sacrifice and have not love for people it profits you nothing. It’s not 100% planting seeds of money.

Look for charity organizations, homeless people or orphans and give to them or feed the poor. Share the love of God with your neighbors(not next door neighbor) with a cheerful heart. The church is not the only place to give, whatsoever you do to the least amongst you, that you do onto him Mathew 25:40. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’There is no commandment greater than these.'” -Mark 12:28-31.

@@saraha2250 I was just now thinking about this very thing as Mike Murdock is on his rerun tv show. lol 😂. But my message now is praying for the sick and the lost and of course I give to church’s I know people I know John 316 mission downtown Tulsa, places I know and I can see. Why send my seed to someone a thousand miles away on tv that obviously the way they look and brag about living, don’t need my seed. So I look for people that I know do. Like that waitress barely making it from one of the next. Or a preacher in a small church that you know is a man of God. Give to them and preach the gospel to the poor.

Raised the whole thing for parsonage that night. Evelyn said she was gonna go home to momma if he didn’t get her a house. 5:49 We didn’t have $10 to our name. 4 AM knock on the door it was a member of the church it was a wheat farmer. He had 4 hundred dollar bills in his hand. Pastor I’m about to lose my farm. I’ve been playing Wall Street. This $400 is not just $ but it is seed. I’m planting it in your hand. I never heard that expression before in my life. That you might pray for me that I might save my farm.

I'm a christian who had out of body experience, & I know Jesus Christ is Lord and savior of all mankind. I believe ministers can ask for help when they need it. But I don't believe it's from Jesus Christ our Lord and savior when these ministers are always asking for money.

Oral wrote a book that I’ve read called Seed Faith Giving. But he didn’t say in the book to go out in the world and preach that Gain Is Godliness! Timothy said that teaching that gain is a sign of Godliness is a lie. I’ve heard pastors say that people could tell how many good Christians was going to his church by seeing all the new big cars in the parking lot. Huh? No! Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all things will be added to you.

“How shall they go unless they be sent”? To get the gospel to the 4 corners of the world takes money. 2000 years ago a man may have been able to travel somewhat easier with empty pockets, but sadly in the 21st century your stuck at home not advancing the kingdom of God. How shall they hear if no one tells them? People round the world are dying for the soul saving message of Jesus Christ, because Christian’s are to worried someone is trying to take their money. My lord we can’t take it with us. Might as well give it to a church that’s feeding the hungry visiting the sick people shut in, in hospitals etc. don’t hold back give until it hurts watch God open the windows of heaven, and pour out a blessing on your life. When we give more is added naturally this is how it works.

@@tjrizzo1619 Oh, you mean that he asked people to join him in the offering. That's normal, every church gives members the opportunity to bring their offering. That's what we read in the Bible. That's the way they build the Tabernacle. But I mean, proof that he was paying people to fake their healing. That is a serious and dangerous accusation. You need proof, that's what the Bible teaches us in 1 Tim 5:19.

@@cristie97 No! Oral made it seem that God blessed him for giving his last dollar. The offering was for his own benefit. Watch oral “heal” a child that supposedly couldn’t walk. The kid is moving his feet before oral prayed. Then oral wiggles the kids foot as if his prayer just loosened his ankle joints. Was oral ever at a children’s cancer hospital healing them? No absolutely not because you can’t pass around a bucket at a hospital.

Money hungry pastors be quick to tell you to 'sow a seed' for your need. But they won't tell you to take that money and pay your debts so you could have A 1 credit. They won't tell you to purchase a life insurance policy so that when you die you could leave something behind for your kids. They won't tell you to keep the money up in the bank for a rainy day. You're always hearing how God wants you to prosper. But never God saying owe a man nothing but love. WAKE THE HECK UP CHRISTIANS

This prosperity nonsense and sowing a seed of money is nothing but heresy and blasphemes the name of God. This has nothing to do with the cross of Jesus Christ, but does as Paul warns, they are viewing godliness as a means of gain. Repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, and turn away from this nonsense.

Re 1 Cor 9...The apostle Paul is referencing his rights as an apostle, to share in the blessings that the Corinthian church offered. He did not make use of them so as to give the gospel free of charge. The latter half is about how he surrenders his own rights in Christ for the sake of winning souls to Christ. It has nothing to do with sowing a seed of money, just to get something bigger back. We give to God out of gratitude, not for self-service, like this video teaches.

Sorry, 2 Cor. Even then, we give out of a cheerful heart (fulfilling the 1st commandment), and we give sacrificially to meet the needs of others. Again, this video has nothing to do with 2 Cor 9. Oral Roberts is teaching selfishness, not sacrificial giving.
