Has anyone tried these 65mm wheels on a 22" Penny board? Looking to change my origina Penny wheels for a better quality ride.

Untill now I'd always been thinking why wouldn't Orangatang have such wheels. Smth grippy and carvy for a nimble cruiser. For me sharper lips give much smoother ride comparing to more freeride oriented Fat Frees and Stimulus. I'd choose orange ones for better roll. I wonder why there are no purples 🤔 I think that sharp lip wheels are felt to be softer than they are because of that lip shock absorbtion. So purples probably would have the best roll, soft enough and easier to slide.

@@rorytobory Actually Orangatang replied on the Instagram that it would take more time to produce the whole series including purples and yellows, they hurried up so produced only blue and orange ones. Anyway this is great.

@@rorytobory What is your verdict on the blues? Have they chunked or discoloured after 4 months?

@@kihealthandwellness it doesn't seem like they will but I've also been skating other wheels more. They're good for freeriding on a drop through, but I think they might be grippy for freeriding on a top mount in winter. They also are great for kicking along paths.

Yeah I've been hearing recently that larger contact patch =smoother ride. I bought some fat frees recently and kinda wishing I'd gone for love handles or 4pres as I'm just doing basic cruising, no sliding.

Just turned 30 so you’re lazy? I’m 46, now the closest I get to skating is watching this video. Shut up! You don’t know lazy. The only carving I do is carving a turkey. The only pop-shuv-it I do is shoving a pop-tart in my mouth. The only grinding I do these days is grind my teeth at night. (I’m married) Oh love handles? Don’t get me started…

Only 65 mm? Darn! I was really hoping to see you guys come up with an even bigger wheel than the 85mm Caguamas... something with a bigger core to offset the weight of its bigger size.
