Guy Martin is a British motorcycle racer and truck mechanic. Primarily a man of the road, he's one of the World's most talented riders and a constant favourite at the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. Worldwide recognition through TT3D showed him at his witty and charismatic best, with his TV debut on BBC One's The Boat that Guy Built taking him to the mainstream. A man obsessed with industrial processes and the intricacies of manufacturing, Cut Media thought he'd be the ideal candidate for an Orange Bikes factory documentary...

This is what Halfords try to convince you goes into your "premium quality £135 dual suspension mountain bike with front disc brake" pmsl ^_^ Guy is a total legend, and even though he's super-intelligent, his boy-ish inquisitive style of asking not just "how?" but also "why?" about everything makes for a very natural presenter style that I'm not sure he even realises he has. Major respect for him staying true and saying "look, I'm just Guy, I don't want to be a pro bike racer or a TV presenter" though. It's your life marra, live it. :)

I must admit that our Guy is my all time favourite semi celebrity, his passion for engineering goes way beyond anyone else's grasp and I really take my hat off to him. I don't know whether it's because I'm from the potteries but I never struggle to understand him.

I'm proud to be a stone's throw away from Orange Bikes and Hope Tech. Seeing world cup quality bikes and parts come from a boggy corner in the UK is really humbling, and it shows incredible dedication in times where components are being fired off conveyor belts. 2019 now and Orange's frames are looking and performing better than ever.

Being an ex rider from years ago, i quickly fell in love with Orange bikes. My idea back then was to build a new trials bike using an Orange Ms Isle, love that frame. Sadly i never got round to the project as life happend.

I bought an Orange 5 in2014 thebest £3200 I have spent. I am now 69 and love this bike. thanks guys. I also bought a 2016 factory 5 my son ride Enduro races on My granddaughter has hes eyes on it thanks guys. If its not orange we are not interested less is more.

Love Orange bikes and a big fan of Guy Martin too. Guy typifies the true grit Brit. He's one of the bravest and easily the most grounded British racer in any discipline.

Top movie, seeing craft, interest, banter, enthusiasm and engineering, and an end product that is directly relevant. This should be used as a training film in schools, colleges and alike. Engineering can be cool. Love it!

I watch Guy for the truck/mechanics stuff and Big Clive for the electronics and both have this same passion going on, which is brilliant. It’s so nice to see knowledgeable people genuinely enjoying what they do and being incredibly entertaining and interesting to watch.

C4 have pulled a master stroke with Guy, they have created a Dibnah for a new generation! Ali TIG welding is not an easy skill to master, I can do stainless, mild and even Ti all day but Ali is a bitch, Guy managed to avoid blowing a hole in that piece so not a bad effort for first time. Was a bit surprised he didn't know about powder coating though! Have to say though, I'll stick with my Cannondale thanks!

I have a Sub 5 from 2003. It's been to the (real) North Shore, the valley trails and the bike park in Whistler, it's done countless miles in the woods in Sweden with my 95kg on it and it's still going strong. Proud to own one.
