The Tavares, Eustis & Gulf Railroad operated short excursion trains over the weekend of April 18th, featuring a wild west themed shootout near the end of the trips, and East Coast Rail Videos was there to see it all! Enjoy this video of TE&G #2 as it heads into the Old West!

This locomotive and it's coaches came from The Reader Railroad in Reader, Arkansas. I painted all of it's coaches here at Reader Shops before it was moved.

When the train stops I think I can hear the electric turbine operating! I'm trying to figure out when they first started using those electric dynamo/generator turbines on trains to power the brakes and lights.
