They didn't deserve the Oline award after this showing. Gattis doesn't have bad schemes to get the wideouts/backs open just Cade doesn't read fast enough and anticipate his throws. You could see the fear in Michigan's eyes at the coin flip. As soon as the game started, you could see it was a horrible mismatch. They never had a chance. Georgia looked like a Premier League team scrimmaging an MLS scrub team. The team just gave up too in the first quarter. Embarrassing stuff.

I honestly thought this one was gonna be a low scoring game. I knew Georgia's defense would show up by was not expecting michigan's defensive line to be man handled. All the talk was around how good Hutchinson was but turns out it was just talk. Don't get me wrong he's good but he's not Jordan Davis good even chose to Will Anderson good. And to think he got a Heisman invite lol. Yes the SEC has went flat in a lot of the bowl games but just good to show when it matters the SEC is still at the top. I'm a Wolverine fan, but I had no illusions about this game... it was typical "Big-Ten" slow-mo play development against SEC speed & quickness. Believe me, I've observed the same routine for the past 40 years. Big Ten conference games are top-tier, but the moment they have to play an SEC or Pac-10 team, reality hits.

These two playoff games went about like I thought they would. Everyone bitching about expanding the playoff to 8 teams. Since the playoff format has been around I haven't seen any real reason to have a 4 team playoff. Every year two teams blows out the other two. Shame, the big rep of the Big Ten got really walloped! At least they got a consolation TD. From the very start the Georgia offence showed up the limited MI defence and then the defence made mincemeat of the MI offence. It was pretty predictable from then on.

Bowers is by far UGA's best receiver. James Cook is their best RB. Dean is their best defender. In order to beat Georgia, the opposing QB has to have a huge game. Georgia biggest weakness is their secondary. Problem for Michigan is that they are a running team.

The sec has been the best conference for so long. In the last decade Alabama, Auburn, and LSU have all won titles. Georgia and Auburn have now both been to a few title games in just the last 10 years. 4 of the top 5 recruiting classes from last year were sec and that’s not an anomaly…it just goes on and on. Should not be any question about the sec having the best conference year in year out. Especially, the SEC West.
