Жыл бұрынHello all, this first tutorial for the new year is a quilt I made for my nephew and his wife for their wedding. I used a layer cake with the Missouri Star Quilt Pattern orange peel. I actually changed it a little bit to have less seams and added borders. If you enjoy applique and two-tone quilts - This one is easy! Although scrappy would look good too. Hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed new year!

Can you tell me why you sewed the peels 1/4” inside the line? Doesn’t it call to draw them and sew on the line? Just wondering.

Hi Gail, it was my take on making an Orange Peel quilt. Not the way it was presented in the MSQC tutorial. It was easier for me to do it this way since I was drawing 4 peels onto one layer cake square. It seemed to save me time and material. Thanks for watching and commmenting.
