I just finished baking these orange rolls and yes, they are out of this world divine! My house still smells of fresh baked rolls, and they turned out perfect! Thank you for sharing your recipe! 😊

Made this today and it was a hit! So fluffly and light. Have no words to describe how delicious it is! But the first time I made it was a bit hard and dry. The secret is to use the right amount of flour. And I wish Laura could give measurements in grams and not only cups. I think that would help many people and make her recipes more reliable. Thanks Laura, will be definitely trying more recipes from your channel.

When I make orange rolls, I mix the zested orange into the butter and then spread that on the dough and then add the sugar. :)

I made these rolls for Christmas morning and they turned out absolutely delicious! The only thing I would recommend is to add your flour in increments. I only used half the amount the recipe called for and then added a little more until the dough was no longer sticky. If I had used all of the flour, my rolls would have been dry and hard. Also, I had to cook them for ten minutes longer than Laura suggested. Other than that, they are perfection!

Made these today and they are delicious! The dough is so easy to work with. Yummy and has a nice spring citrus flavor.

I ALWAYS use my stainless steel Kitchen Aid mixer’s mixing bowl (that I just machine-kneaded the dough in!) to rise it in. (I see ABSOLUTELY NO NEED in getting a second bowl “dirty” for nothing!) After it’s done kneading, I just pour little bit (2-3 Tbsps???) of EVOO over the top of the dough, and then turn it over, two or three times, coating up the sides of the bowl most of the way up (till about 1” below the rim) by rubbing the oiled dough on it. Then I cover it in cling wrap, or a moist kitchen towel (wrung out) and put it in my oven (with the oven light ON!) to rise. The heat from the lightbulb 💡 sustains the pre-heated warmth of the oven throughout the whole hour. During the 4 minutes or so that I am machine-kneading the dough, I turn my oven on to about 350°F for about four or five minutes long. THEN I TURN IT OFF BEFORE putting my bowl of dough in it!!!! And then I usually let it rise for about 1 hour. Works perfectly every time!! And in the winter time and it’s especially cold, I may fill the metal bowl up with hot tap water (FIRST, to preheat the bowl!) and pour it ALL out before I start putting all the ingredients in it to mix in it.

If you pulse they sugar and the orange zest together in the food processor, the orange zest totally infuses the sugar with orange flavour, and it makes such a big difference. I first did that with lemon zest and sugar for cookies that called for lemon sugar, and it makes such a big flavour difference, because it just completely infuses the sugar with the flavour.
