That is Orban's BS. Orban blocked aid to Ukraine. There were other countries that had all kinds of doubts, but Hungary actively meddled in blocking any support of Ukraine. He blocked Sweden and Finland joining NATO. Has Orban ever demonstrated any capability for peace any where in the whole world.

If that was the case why hasn’t he called for Russia to end its war on Ukraine and to withdraw from Ukrainian Territory. Orban is a shrill for Putin and represents his own agenda, rather than the agenda of 350m people who like in the EU.

Russia gets to keep the land that they have stolen, Russia gets to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO/EU, Russia gets its “Buffer Zone” on remaining Ukrainian Lands, Russia gets to dictate the size of Ukraines Military forces in future, etc, etc. All Ukraine gets is for Russia to stop killing them - for now. In another 10 years what exactly prevents Russia doing it again, but this time they go after Odesa’s. Orban isn’t interested in peace, he is only interested in Ukraine’s surrender.
