ORBITAL - "Planet of the Shapes" from the BROWN album
Written by Paul and Phil Hartnoll
On the cassette release, the track was renamed to "Planet of the Tapes" and placed as the first track on side two, before "Walk Now...".
The title "Planet of the Shapes" is also a reference to the 1968 film Planet of the Apes.

"Even a stopped clock, gives the right time, twice a day" has been my favourite quote since the early days of social media. I know it's originally from a film, but I heard it first in this track.

3:29 This has always been my favorite part of this tune. It's gets all super chill ambient before building back up with new instruments. Reminds me a little of some tracks on LFO's record _Frequency_

The US cassette release still retained the Planet of the Shapes title. It's such an awesome track. I still prefer the cassette track order.

Love the 1.58 percussion break here before the track truely kicks in never used again i remember i had this on vinyl and thought my needle was damaged lol love this album so much never dates timeless
