They are all so beautiful! I love this series, it's a great stress reliever to look at gorgeous blooms and learn a little bit about each orchid. Today I am loving the Cattleya Hawaiian Splash 'Lea' and the Brassocatanthe Taiwan Mermaid. Thanks for sharing!

Dani, Thank you for sharing your orchids with us, these have encouraged me to "branch out" and go beyond just my phalaenopsis orchids I currently have. My favorite was the Hawaiian Splash Lea, for a couple of reasons. #1 She's beautiful, and DOES remind me of Hawaiian sunsets! #2 Maui Hawaii is our absolute FAVORITE vacation place, and we are going back to Oahu this summer for a reunion. #3 My wife's name is LEAH! So she is my No. 1 Pick and is on my list to buy! #2 is Golden Peacock, and #3 is Chief Berry and #4 is Golden Boy. ALL of those are on my wish list now! Thank you for your channel and for your love for orchids! It gives me a reason to smile every time I turn these on.

Thank you. I really appreciate how you film the orchids. It is very hard to move slowly and smoothly when filming. As another commenter said, it is very relaxing to just watch the video of gorgeous blooms and then listen to your voice. They are all gorgeous but I'm partial to brassavola hybrids where petals and sepals are same shape. They just make me happy. Golden Peacock and Taiwan Mermaid for me. On my wishlist

Wow! Picking a favorite is really difficult with this group, they are all gorgeous! But I think I will go with the Hawaiian splash lea and the Taiwan mermaid. Thanks so much for sharing the beautiful fruits of your labor.

Danny I am new to the Orchid world. I loved the Hawaiian she was to me absolutely beautiful. I am trying to save an Orchid that was given to my brother as he was passing away. She hadn’t been repotted and has lost all of her roots. She still has to healthy leaves and has started to grow new roots. I am hoping she pulls through so I can keep my little brother’s memory around for years to come. I love your channel you are so helpful thank you so much. Kevin

If you haven't yet considered it, I'd highly suggest trying out Utricularia (bladderworts)! They are small carnivorous plants with adorable (usually) small flowers. My personal favorite is U. blanchetii, but U. sandersonii is also a really pretty one. Excellent video BTW!

Rcl. Chian-tze Goldenorange 'Goldenboy' is one I want because it's a mini with a fragrance! It looks similar on camera to the chief berry (which I have, but she hasn't bloomed yet).

For me its the orange and magenta Chief Berry or Golden Boy for its orange, yellow and fragrance.

I may be crazy ( actually I know I am) but on the Tolumnia does anyone else see a sort of cartoon character with a face, eyes, big ears, arms in front and fingers folded together? The first Cattleya seems very bright and happy. All are beautiful!

They're all lovely, but the Red Devil Tolumnia is my fave of this group😍 I'm newish to orchids and just have a few box store rescue phals I've managed to keep alive thanks to your videos. Eventually I'd like to get other types though :)

Hey, Danny. My wife and I have become addicted to your channel; she only discovered it recently, while searching for ways to save some orchids from dying. Anyway, we really got a kick out of finding out that you're from România. We're also Romanian expats, but we're over here in the US. When I first heard you, I really thought you're here in the States, and I thought you're actually an American, because you sounded like one. I couldn't detect any kind of accent to speak of; the only subtle tell was that you speak very clearly, you enunciate every word, which would be a bit unusual, and even un-American, hahaha. Anyway, your videos are delightful, and you are a delight to watch. Your hard work is impressive, and your passion is admirable.

I absolutely love the colors of the Phal. Venitian Carnival. I am also currently waiting for the Phal. Zheng Min Anaconda to grow its flower spike. My Bulbophyllum Masterianum bloomed last week and I am still not over how pretty and delicate the flowers are.

I have a mini catleya that has all red flowers. Like a deep red. I absolutely love it. I only detect a fragrance in the spring and summer months. It has many growths and blooms multiple times a year. I just wish I could get more than one flower at a time. It must have like 15 pseudobulbs.

My beauty was was a phal with pink little flowers I adore it but she's dropping the last ones oh so sad.Its my favourite but I've purchased two dendubriums which are hard to get in my parts and I do like them alot .

Hello Danny!! I'm so sad, I moved last year to a new city for work and for my orchid collection was a disaster: I lost in the following months 20 of my 70 orchids and 20 plants of the remaining 50 are suffering at the moment, because of roots losses and a mealybug infestation that resists whatever natural or artificial substance I've tried, in order to contain/eliminating it. I don't know, I think I could give up on this hobby.. If another 20 orchids die, it will be more than 800€ lost... They were so healthy in my prior home 😢

Hi Danni, This is not about this video, I hope you don't mind. I have 5 orchids, non-floweringing . 3 have Very floppy leaves, they are not dehydrated. Some have hardly any roots. I soak them when they are dry, they are all in a see through pots.see-through The nexy day I irrigated it with a skewer, to make sure no sure air is not blockade from the roots?. I use small bark and sphagname-, seldom fertilize. Can you help me PM, please.

I think except for awarded meristems, species are usually grown from seed and not tissue cultured

hi Danny how are u I have a question about ur barrina grow lights do u use any voltage transformer ? since the barrina lights come from the us and the electric voltage here in Europe is different then the us I am in the Netherlands and planing to buy these lights but I am scared the voltage here is to hit do u have any tips or info for me thank you
