The amulet says “instead of making a dispel attempt”. My interpretation is the amulet uses a different mechanism to dispel “a d6 needing a 2+” that doesn’t mean the model must be able to dispel to use the amulet. Also the amulet isn’t an arcane item. Further showing “to me” this wasn’t meant to be exclusively for wizards. I do appreciate the point of view! And I will discuss this with my local TO’s to get more points of view. Again this is only my opinion :). Thanks you!

​​@@causebadguys9524the wording is the same like lets say scroll of transmogrification, the key is the "wizardly dispel attempt", if it was meant to be used by a non wizard, the wording would be a dispel attempt, be it fated or wizardly, in other words, the bearer must be able to dispel At least this is how i understand it Really minor matter though, you can argue that since its a talisman if it wasnt meant for non wizards it would say so Ive seen so many big mistakes in list makings, this is barely a mistake tbh

No, this is an INSTEAD ability! You do exchange your wizardly dispel attempt and User the item. No hypothethicals

I cast itchy nuisance in my turn then combat happened, then pursued into the frostheart. My opponent charged back into combat with the phenix guard in his turn, that combat I killed the frostheart and won vs the phenix guard and pursued out of the trees. Sorry if I explained it out of order or not very clearly.

Thanks for the question! The initial hits are from the grail knights charging and landing on the 2 fanatics then the push through hits are when I move the fanatics through them. The grail knights took 4d6 hits in total from 2 fanatics. I hope this helps answering your question. I did the same thing to the questing knights but with only 1 fanatics.

So they charged through the fanatics took hits and then you random moved through them after . So on the charge the fanatics stayed I front of the unit and then you used your controlled direction random movement to re hit them? Do I have that right?

If he’s a different unit type (cavalry vs infantry) he doesn’t get “look out sir” or unit protection so he could be targeted by cannons and the like.

I think he wanted monster slayer in addition to killing blow. Plus strength 6 instead of strength 5. Both blades offer great abilities and I personally prefer the ogre blade but that’s because I’m all about those bad guys! Thanks!

@@causebadguys9524 once you take a magical weapon you cant pick and choose what you use each combat, its always that magical weapon no matter what (as stated in the magical weapons rule section)

Absolutely, when I say I can use different weapons it’s never in tandem with a magical weapon. They are always mundane generic hand weapons and great weapons. That is what allows the choice during the start of combat. Thanks for the comment!
