This and 100% this. Same understanding for money, but it just annoys me when you watch a 4 hour reupload and they start screaming some random comment mid sentence when they were saying what they were doing in a game. Am very happy they still also make these type of reports.

One thing steve is very good at is there are things for everyone on his channel. He does live batraps as well as hand held so hopefully he has a big bank of handheld games for you!

Actually nope A bit curious about the odds of this combat I did some calculations and was a bit surprised to find that it was less lopsided in orc favor than I had thought. Saw your comment and added black orcs to the table. Black orcs in this scenario would inflict slightly more damage, so slight that the champion's WS5 is a deciding factor (why minmaxing is allocating atleast one attack on the champion lol) But Savages have a better save and thus have better odds. Not to mention savage big 'uns are core(!) and against more typical stat and save profiles inflict way more damage than black orcs do, they are objectively better in this army book and game version. Unsaved wound infliction : Black orcs 6 wide, champion great weapons and hit reroll: 5.6 Savage big 'uns 6 wide, champion, ahw, hit reroll : 5.2 8 knight attacks with reroll hit and wound, 5 horses rerolling wound, captain with +1S and his horse : 4.5 against savages 5.7 against black orcs Consider ranks orcs 'should' win either way of course. Couple that with doomdivers (that are extremely potent against the empire list) exploding and the Orc player was very unlucky this game.

"But Savages have a better save and thus have better odds." *This is only true as long as the shaman is still alive, after that their ward save drops to 6+. So attacking the shaman makes sense.* BTW, Black Orcs wouldn't have suffered from animosity like the Savage Orcs did in this game.

@@thomasbaader6629 Well, sure, but the shaman is T5 and W3, you will deal less total damage if you attack him and may likely result in less CR. You also need to kill him in a step of higher initiative for that to matter. Fencer's blades is a nice combo on a shaman like this imo, pairs well with fists of gork too. Yeah, no animosity is a unique perk for the black orcs, and they are good. But for an orc player whatever unit of big 'uns you field will likely be your pound-for-pound strongest r'n'f unit, but you can only have one so if you want another unit of elite infantry in your list black orcs will be the next best thing.
