Order Block Trading Strategy | 90% Gain in 2 days

This order block strategy I have created and refined over the past couple of years. It's really simple: Understand the overall market structure on the higher timeframe, identify the highest point since the break of the low or high, look for the order block entry, focus in on a lower timeframe for better risk to reward ratio, set an alert for when price reverses, enter on a wyckoff reversal criteria, follow the trade down to the higher timeframe target.
In just 2 days, there were 90% account gains identified, with SO MUCH MORE left on the table. One of these trades I didn't take - my broker didn't enter it, but the trade ran off to make 40%.
You'll see in full (at least on a basic level) the strategy that I now use when I want to trade in the market, alongside my London Breakout Strategies.

I've seen a lot of youtube SMC mentors. ICT, MentFx, MahadFX, Traq FX, SMS, Vertex, etc. None of them give in their free content enough walkthroughs on backtesting, i think that's the best training someone can get in order to get good at this. Hi Graham, thanks for the view and your comment mate, much appreciated! The group is in a beta test phase at the moment. I think it'll be ready for everyone else in about 2 months (not rushing the launch as I want it to be a high level for people to learn from and engage with the community). Thank you for the great content and that you are doing that for free and I don:t have any information about your mentorship :) It's quite rare, and that is very good. Your way of explaining is plain and simple. I have a question. I see that you have strict rules for everything and that is very good. That means that you have objective methods for doing what you do. Given that, could you kindly do a video about market structure? Maybe you have also some strict and objective rules for that. It would be great for putting this all toghether. I'll create a watered-down version for KZfaq where you'll still be able to figure out what to do when you link it together with this video. Maybe if I create a year of backtesting video with results using something like the 4H timeframe - as well as an explainer - would that be useful?

@@TradeForexwithPaul Thanks do the reply! For me everything that boils down a market Structure with objextive, mechanical way will be good of you know what I mean. Basing on what and how you are doing I'm looking forward to see that. I'm a big enthusiast of mechanical approach. For me this is the way to trade, the way where ten people that do not know no thing about each other sit down to the chart and see the same thing in the same way. This is the way you build your consistency and most importantly your confidence in what you are doing. In this case even if price hits the SL you don't get frusttrated so much. Why? Because you know, and you are confident that you did everything correctly. And if you have any doubts you look at your instructtions like for example your video tutoirials. There you get confitmation of what you did and that you did it right. Then you can say to yourself: "oh well that's life, have to get on with it" instead of (mostly my case) "what in the name of God I did wrong now or did I? " i hope you understand where I'm getting at :) Regarding your question. if I csn replicate your way of defining market structure from 4h time frame to every time frame in an mechanical/objextive way and this wil*l"click" toghether with what you showed here I will personalny send you (don't know how yet) a good whiskey if you like. @@rafakoscinski5319 @Rafał Kościński I couldn't agree more with mechanical trading. Its just a case of being very strict with yourself and even now I still have the very heavy human emotions sometimes when taking a Loss or not the required TP on a higher timeframe. The consistency comes over time, and strangely now I have a feeling the style of trading will adapt, but never fully change / not work as the understanding of the market on this level is so far greater now, so as things do change in the markets, the strategy will subtly change with it. And yeah, thats exactly it. The daily, 4H etc - its just higher timeframe confluence to base your lower timeframe entries on. If you know where the market is likely headed on the 4H for example, then getting in at an extreme point on the 1 min is ideal because your SL has been shortened and your TP has been significantly increased making your RR staggering... and there is always several additional opportunities to get involved in that move. Essentially you can place your initial trade and walk away for the same time period on the 4H and see you've taken excellent profit... though I'm still working on that bit of my own psychology. @@TradeForexwithPaul hehe Thanks. I'm not a big whiskey fan (that does not mean I cant buy one for someone ;)) but I'll also drink one for you using other beverages. One should be greatful when someone else is doing something good for him. Specially if he is half polish (if I understood correctly) and doing a cheer's :) . Regarding the structure. I have a theory that when you find a way of doing this in an objective way it will never change. As long as candlesticks will look the same and this did not change for decades than you are fine. They wił always look like that like moving average for example. Specially the simple one. This is only math, so If you can apply something mathematical /mechanical you would not have to change a thing. But like i said this is ny theory based on my personal observations. If you can stick to your rules like crazy than you can win, not always but you can :) Cheer's mate and al the best for you and your family as well.

Thanks for the comment mate. I'll try to encorporate it into a video but not sure how I can make a video specific to it. Sometimes spreads are 0.0, other times around 1 pip. Always try to account for spreads depending on the time of day mate

here's a good question for you, why don't just take a trade when its 1 or 2 pips bigger than the regular stops u be havvign, you're still bagging double-digits percentages on these trades, if u were to take that trade that u missed with a 1-10 RR, on a 50k account, that 10% and thats 5k in that one trade.

Agreed - There's loads of OBs within a retracement a lot of the time. Usually 2-5. Pick in a discount zone to narrow it down and take all of them. Statistically and mathematically, you will still win more than you lose RR-wise

Hi, I'd like to ask @34:10- 34:20 you're looking for order block at @50 - 70 % retracement . But the first two trades, you took were around where the previous impulse began. How do I know when to expect a approx 70% retracement, or an almost 100% retracement? I hope I managed to be clear. English is not my first language... Thank you

No worries mate. There are different entry criterias. One is to focus on where the impulse is / where another HTF order block is, and the other is looking at retracements, starting from 50% of the retracement. Another entry which is often done on the m15 is straight after a HTF break of structure and is the first pullback from there, so deep in the premium zone

Just so you'd get tagged in more often mate. On the higher timeframe when using pending orders I find that the equilibrium is the best place to target entries. Obviously, on smaller timeframes you can use a wyckoff structure entry to get

How come you didnt look for buys when you was getting the three breaks of structure? Also what made you mark that specific structural high when you can see other highs not being broken to the left of that? Cheers

It was the way that price started to reverse - I realised it was likely to be more of a whipsaw due to the higher timeframe direction (which was down). Re Structural Highs - even though there were other highs to the left, they were likely too far out of reach. I need to rename these types of highs though as they can get confusing

Not this first lot as they are helping me as much as I am helping them. When the course is opened properly there will be a fee but not anything stupid

@@TradeForexwithPaul about how mutch will it cost ? it seems like alot to consider like liquidity and also ineffective price like gaps. Are you now using ou orderblock or the more common orderblocks used by others ?

Nope - people ask a lot, but I've watched about 15 mins of a video with him in and listened to a podcast with him in. Self-taught mate :)
