*Option 2a - Individual Tanzanite Blue with Silverstone/black* No one would ever dislike that spec and it looks gorgeous in all weathers and seasons! Sporty, elegant, serious - It's basically perfect...

If it were my money, I'd keep the M2 Comp. Enjoy it until a later model/series comes out that catches your fancy, and the time between could be used to accumulate the capital to buy it outright. As a BMW promoter, you'll probably get a press car to enjoy should you feel the need to try the latest and greatest, albeit without taking the depreciation hit of reselling the M2.

2b is actually scary - it's that good It changed my mind wholesale about the new look

Option 1a: That green is absolutely stunning. If you want something for the channel, then that is the way to go. Like you said when was the last green BMW you've actually seen, its rare and beautiful.

3b - the carbon parts contrasts the best against the silver grey. Same as they do on a hockenheim silver M2 comp.

Don’t make a mistake and stick with your amazing M2 and don’t waste money for M3 yet. If u want M3 so bad, wait for touring one but the way u like to use your car M2 is much better for u.

Brookland grey and Kyalami Orange interior Joe! The exterior will contrast lovely with the grilles and black wheels! Will always look special due to the classic exterior and orange popping interior! Tanzanite and Kyalami interior with silver wheels is my second choice!

Better of getting a f80 especially at current prices. G80 weighs 160kgs more. That extra weight will affect handling performance. Plus f80 is a better looking car.

I vote for 1A! I'm going to wait till mid cycle and go with individual Oxford metallic Green II/Silverstone :)

Just like the old M3 over the M4, I chose the M3 because of its wider stance in the back Tanzanite Blue with Silverstone leather or Brooklyn grey car with orange leather. I had the Silverstone M3 with orange leather and I got compliments a LOT in Scottsdale AZ.

Joe, we can see deep down green is your colour of choice! Go for green! Amazing combo , nothing short for a M3!

2B for me. Blue and half-orange interior is always good and silver wheels to top it off.

I think the option 1a looks more stealth looking because the lower part of the car is full black which I don't prefer choosing. So the option 2a looks so much better with the silver highlights in the wheels and also the interior and exterior colors are more on the safer side than green I think. Maybe the interior colors can be orange *BUT THE OVERALL PACKAGE IS 2a BEACUSE IT IS A SAFER CHOICE AND ALSO WILL BE COLORFULL IN YOUR VIDEOS*. Also I think your profile pic and cover pic for your channel will also pop more with the massive grill. 😜

Option 1a - Isle of Man Green with Silverstone/black interior. I don't like flashy colors, but that Green is perfect for this car. Really sharp, clean and makes it stand out in a good way.

Tanzanite really is a beautiful colour when it's lovely and cleaned up. My old man bought a few years old 4 series coupe in Tanzanite blue at the beginning of the year and it looks fantastic when you can get it nice and sparkly

1a. The green is beautiful and unique. Tanzanite looks utterly unremarkable on a cloudy day which happen quite often in the UK.

I would go for 1b, launch spec: green with orange leather. Also Joe, what happened to the gold 20/21” wheels on the european press M3? Looks like they are not offering those for sale.

I don’t know if this is happening in the BMW dealerships but I heard from someone trying to order a Mercedes and was told by the dealership if the car comes after 31 December 2020 they will charge the 10% extra tariff due to no deal Brexit. What does your BMW dealer saying regarding WTO tariffs on German Cars entering the UK?

I like, Option 2a - Individual Tanzanite Blue with Silverstone/black. 2nd place Option 3a - Brooklyn Grey with Silverstone/black. And, this is not a car to "warm up to" it's fantastic, for some reason I get some classic Alpha vibes from it, and that's a good thing. The proportions are amazing. It's polarizing and I say bring it on, it won't be mistaken for anything else. I know the grill is meant to have some nostalgic relevance to BMWs of the past (vertical grills) but ironically, I feel like the comment "you'll warm up to it" is mostly for the BMW traditionalists.

Just because BMW’s Exterior Designers botched the job doesn’t mean the M3 & M4 is not engineered well or going to drive amazingly.

I love the green but it’s got to be option 2B for me. The green will turn into the ‘hockenheim silver’ for the M3. Everyone will spec it with the green. 2B Looks sophisticated whilst still having colour and a bit of individuality.

Option 2 B !! Its for you Period its a nice mix not getting boring in the long run.

This car is stunning. One of my favourite options is 1a. 2b is also perfection. This comment is now completely useless to you Joe! The choice is so hard to make but no matter what you choose at the end of it you are going to have a superb car.

Nah, still hideous. And it’s not just the front, the rear has lost the wide hips stance that the old one used to have, it just looks straight and squared off now

X5m is my choice. Sorry can’t help on the m3. I have 2 dogs and 2 kids needing baby seats. For colour combination, orange interiors give you a burst of vitamin C on a bad day, I like dark blues/greens that look black sometimes, and the blue/green in the light. Look at them in person. Don’t pick on the PC - the folds in the sheet metal make/break the colours. Pure metal silver is very cool. I went black on the exterior, the rolls Royce orange on the interior with a black wood trim.

Black rims are over done, besides black rims never show the architecture of the rim.

How many of us current BMW owners...had the very same dilemma wearing out the on-line configurator prior to ordering our car? I still get enjoyment, much like Joe & Tony "playing" with the configurators about dream BMWs I could never afford to lease or buy.

OK, CONFESSION: so i never finished watching this all those months ago (even though I've watched your subsequent videos mostly) and now that you got delivery, had to come finish watching this...I would have gone with option #2a with Tanzanite blue with the silver style wheels and the Silverstone interior. The new M4 COMP is in line with the M3 COMP. They are both stunning!!!

Tanzanite blue is darker than it looks in these images. The colour you really want is Mediterranean blue. I had my Alpina in that as a special colour and everybody loved it. Out of your choices I'd go for 1b. The green is unusual and looks stunning on the car.

No manual & a pissing contest with power outputs have spoiled M cars for me, let alone the aesthetic of that grill.

Option 4 - Dravit grey with Silverstone/black

The tanzanite blue is stunning, however, due to the way the light hits it, the carbon accents don’t really stand out. It is also a color offered on the base 3 and 4 series as is portimao blue and dravit gray. That being said, the green is stunning and only available on the M cars. I would go with the green with the white interior or the Brooklyn gray with orange interior. Both of those colors will allow the carbon accents to be appreciated. As for the wheels, either the bicolor or the black. Too bad you couldn’t get orange calipers. That would look good on the gray with the orange interior. Great channel!

I admit as an m2c owner, I did not like the grill when first images came out, but seeing the actual car, the m3 is definitely growing on me! For me its 2a or 3a. The green is great but i think that will be the new lbb Its going to be everywhere. Dissapointed theres no Sakhir, san marino, or silverstone though.

M3 looks better than the M4 just like with the previous gen.....

I agree with the other comments that IoM Green is going to get rinsed. Out of your choices it has to be the Tanzanite Blue, Silverstone interior and Bicolour wheels (hard to choose which design). However if it were my money, I’d be going Dravit Grey and Kylami orange.

3B, simple. I think the green will end up being quite a common colour, silver and tan is timeless

1B is absolutely Gorgeous If not 2B might be as good if not better, but don’t let this guy influence your wheel choice, black would match all the carbon bits and there is no silver on the car. Both specs are Beautiful, congratulations

100% 2B, but only if the orange in person is more of a tan, and not a bright orange. Blue and Tan is 1000% cinematic and would look stunning on your channel 💙🧡

personal suggestion: save for the next facelift.

If this purchase was just for you, option 1 but with the channel criteria factored in it's option 2b that's going to work best. If you were buying for yourself with option 1 you could save £3k as i think you'd be doing just as well to strike off the exterior carbon option and go for gloss black. But that's not going to work with option 2b - the carbon really does that justice. Maybe that's because with option 1 you're going with black wheels which opens up going for black exterior parts. 2B would be my fav spec, the orange interior with the blue paint although the non metallic green looks great too!

The M3 & M4’s new stock metallic paint colors 🎨 are hideous! Where is Jet-Black non-metallic?! Not everyone wants to spend 💸 a ridiculous amount of money on less obtrusive paint colors.

1B - a safe car for most consumers is not a safe car for KZfaq content! But in reality your success is and will be due to your personality, entertainment and education and the spec won’t really matter.

Option 2a - Individual Tanzanite Blue with Silverstone/black Option 2b - Individual Tanzanite Bue with Kyalami Orange

In order of my preference: 1. Option 3b - Brooklyn Grey with Kyalami Orange 2. Option 2b - Individual Tanzanite Bue with Kyalami Orange 3. Option 1b - Isle of Man Green with Kyalami Orange interior

Option 2a or b. I have an F30 340i in tanzanite blue and it’s such a great colour that people often comment on. I love the green, but blue looks that bit better

OPTION 2 B !!!!! Tanzanite Blue with Orange interior with silver and black wheels!!! 💯 ... i own a Tanzanite blue 435, with m performance kit, always get compliments for colour.

Tanzanite blue is very very very dark, it will only look great in sunlight which you don't see much in the UK so please don't go for that... or you'll have a dull near black car all the time which is what you don't want

2B that Kylami Orange is epic really lifts the whole car and contrasts well with the Tanzanite Blue it is a special combination!

This is a video that I didn't want to look at first as it was expected not to have "car action" but I thought, maybe Joe will show us some different perspectives and in the end you did! It would be great if you could remake this video with all the exterior colors and then combine with the 3 interior colors (black-orange-yas) and switching to black and bi-tone wheels so everybody could have a better idea of the colors and their contrasts. In this video, I think your reaction for the tanzanite blue with the bitone wheels was sensitive. As for me, green is my favorite color in general and I find this Isle of Man too light, but in this video it looks way more dark and then appealing. The blue looks stunning and the grey looks much much better than the simulator. Explaining the options: check. Colors and contrast with interior and wheels: pending. 2A and by the way BMW saved the grill by adding body complementing contours on the M3 & M4. I would have gone with the two door because I’ll never be in the back or haul anyone around during my length of ownership. I’d have to see the green in person but right now, I’m not a fan. The orange looks bold and beautiful like Rollini. 🍁Beautiful🍁

1b but go for the silver wheels rather than black. Black wheels looks great when fully polished but not good at other times.

3B grey + orange/black interior: standard but looks aggressive a lot and stunning interior

Do you expect to prefer the bigger car with the DCT box to the M2? Personally, I am optimistic of getting a go in an M3 but I don't think it would meet my fun car needs as well as the M2. And that's without having to look at the grill!

2A is great, but 3B with Kylamie interior is the bomb. I like how the black accent bits are here and there and it works. Personally I like the Grey with Kylamie interior ( the Audi Daytona Grey Pearl is the shizzle, I have it). I'd order my M3 with the Grey option,

Love the green but I just think there is gonna be a load of them produced. So the blue one for me, option 2. I'd personally have gone for the red one. It looks gorgeous. Good luck with your choice. Oh and definitely dont go for the wheels in black, they look like hubcaps😁
