Probably, my favorite Police Piccadilly song. On the one hand, it's kinda sad people are sleeping on it, but, on the other hand, I don't feel like sharing it with anyone, it has become so personal and comforting song.

Right? I almost can't tell this is a vocaloid. The things that give it away are very subtle and I think you have to know a bit about singing to catch it. Basically, it lacks the imperfections you find in any human voice. In this song, the clue is the vibrato, which is the same, prefect, every time. It is damn close, though, and is a joy to listen to. I would love to hear Sekiranun Graffiti done like this.

Hm, while I mostly agree, and would adore a well-done Renri cover any day, I feel like the slight vulnerability in Miku's voice fits this song most. Renri's almost perfect tone, even when made to sound fragile, might not work best. But that's just a prediction, really. We won't know till someone does it ^.^

feralfauna : I can see why you'd feel that way, but it comes down to preference. I think Renri could pull it off better, especially with Police Piccadilly's tuning style, as they have done in the past. Even though Miku's tuning is good, she doesn't sound particularly natural or human to me.

Yes, I suppose Miku does lack the human-ness of Renri - and that's quite a considerable difference! If you look at what songs Police Piccadilly uses Renri for, they're mostly pop-style songs with smooth melodies. Perhaps to see them use Renri for a more reflective, sorrowful song would be a good change in tone and challenge in their tuning skills perhaps? Actually, on listening to it a few more times, I'm not so sure about what I said at first XD

feralfauna : Yeah, they've never used Renri for a slow song like this, but they have tuned like this before. This song is a good example, and "Lyrical Stabilizer" with ONE. I also think a talented user, like cillia, could make Renri sound beautiful. I'm still in love with her cover of "End of Rain" with Renri even after listening to it for years. Though I do have to acknowledge that they used Miku beautifully here. And I wasn't disappointed in the slightest!

The tuning is great. I dare to say (in my opinion), it is better how Tiara does it. I'm very fond of hers because of the smoothness she offered to Miku. However, it lacked a bit of life for Miku. I accepted it, I found it still charming. This though, gave what I both wanted. Smoothness and life. It's not overly smooth and it covers Miku.
