First Time at HONG KONG DISNEYLAND!!

Күн бұрынIt’s our first time at Hong Kong Disneyland and we are excited to explore. This park is very similar to our home park of Disneyland California, but with some interesting and surprising turns. This includes Grizzly Gultch - an old mining town taken over by bears which is home to a roller coaster Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars, that is like Big Thunder Mountain meets Everest. And one of our most anticipated rides of this trip, Mystic Manor, which is their version of Haunted Mansion, but with trackless vehicles, a mischief monkey and some of the coolest dark ride illusions we’ve ever seen. We’ll of course try some of the parks iconic and sometimes adventurous snacks. Come with us on this Hong Kong vlog adventure!

It’s an amazing little park. I will say Chris you didn’t prepare us that Hong Kong seems to have more Duffy and Friends merch than Tokyo, or at least it seemed it.

Did you notice that Main St. is a brick street, not asphalt. Also if you look closely you can see the original Disneyland castle in the facade of this castle. Hong Kong's castle was originally the same as the Anaheim Castle. The best effect in Mystic Manor is the magical "sparkles" that appear in mid-air. That shouldn't be possible!

I’ve been a bit obsessed with Mystic Manor since I saw ride footage on TPM videos, but I haven’t watched much else about HK Disneyland. The look of the park is breathtaking with those mountains behind. I’m thinking it may take top priority on my vacation goals list.

I have a vivid memory of being a teeny child and having my tonsils and adenoids removed. Right after surgery i was sharing a room with this other young boy. They rolled a TINY TV in on a cart that had the VCR player built in. We ended up watching Brother Bear. I loved it. (Or maybe that was just the drugs? 😅) I definitely recommend watching it. You're going to have to start putting a warning before Happily Ever After plays. It gets me every time! I also was impressed with seeing Merida. One of my three year old niece's favorite songs right now is, Touch the Sky. She has to sing along to it and I can barely handle it lol Thank you guys for working so hard on these videos. Your vlogs are some of my absolute favorite. You can feel the magic!

Fantastic! Two fav' the grizzly coaster since big thunder is mine and my husbands fav. Second the fantasy forrest! OMG I would spend hours in there. I love Wondrous Book so much and I agree with Peter as I like princess trio scene too! Happily Ever After song was originally for HKDL 10th anniversary and this show so I was surprised when WDW imported this song for Happily Ever After fireworks, but now all we know both shows are incredibly nice😊

Omg I am loving this! First snack Kitra is dancing with happiness.. second snack not so much 😝 squid 😅. The adventure land looks amazing their version of big thunder looks awesome!! I would definitely go in March if it’s like this because a lot of things all to yourself!! Love the stage show I agree I immediately thought of Disney cruise line! Hong Kong Disneyland was the first Disneyland I ever went to. It’s my favourite Disneyland. I have only been twice (2 days in total). I miss it.

This video was so much fun 😊 Hong Kong and Shanghai Disney are the only parks I haven’t been too. I went to Disneyland Paris solo in 2002ish on a weekday in October and it was absolutely empty. I didn’t wait in a single line, but was a bit disappointed it didn’t seem as magical as other parks I had visited. Like when you took the train around the outside of the park, they just had the perimeter secured with chain link fencing and the vacant land on the other side was completely overtaken by weeds. They hadn’t even built a nice wall, let alone anything themed to hide it. Glad to see from your videos the standards seem much higher now 👍

The Asian parks are so good! We still haven’t been to Paris. I’ve heard mixed things but our friends Mouse Vibes loved it there

OMG the watermelon and Kiwi juice in China and Taiwan is AMAZING~ I need it in my life! I wonder if the low attendance was due to the fact that Lunar New Year had just passed in February and lots of folks were off and traveled at that time. VERY cool......

It got busier later in the day. I think it was mostly we were there an hour before the park opened with an early access ticket and the it rained most of the days which probably kept locals away: but our whole trip there the highest we saw a line was in frozen and it got up to an hour but usually was less
