Clearing ORE is well discussed but would like to know on the training needed and how to go about till we are able to secure an NHS job as dentist.

After clearing ORE, an overseas dentist is hired as VTE or PLVE dentist. This is like a training under a senior dentist and is applicable in the NHS dentistry. As mentioned in the video, there are portals where you can find such jobs or else while appearing for ORE start building your network with dentists working in the UK. This help you get the opportunity sooner.

To work in the Dental sector in the UK, one needs to apply for either ORE or LDS.

Hi, in case you are coming on tourist visa for exams and then you have cleared both the parts. How are the chances of getting the vocational training and getting the work visa till you get into NHS?

A work visa is usually given, after completing the vocational training since this is a mandate. You will have to reach out for opportunities on various portals as she has mentioned in the video.

What is the total cost for this examination ORE. Please ansr me I really need to know that so as to see if I can afford it or not. On Google it says only the exam fees is abt ~3 lacs INR but then what abt other expenses??! Please ansr thereby i.e the TOTAL COST OF THE ORE EXAMINATION FOR AN INDIAN BDS STUDENT

For examination fees, you should check the GDC website for real-time information. The complete cost also depends on the fact that how many attempts you take to clear the exam.
