Have you had any problems using the 6.5 CM on bears? I was thinking about it for them but thought it might be a bit to small

Well we only killed two bears with them. I guess it came down to the bullet not the caliber. Last year I shot mine with a ballistic tip and the bullet did the job but separate in the opposite shoulder. This year Cody shot his with the accubond and the bullet did a complete pass through at 400+ yards. Both bullets killed and I know a lot of people down grade the creedmoor but we have to videos of long range kills with the creedmoor. I’m happy with it and I think it’s just fine for bears.

So I run the ballistic tip and did does very well but wouldn’t go past 400 yards due to the fact that they separate. This bear was killed with a accubond. Did very well and held together at long range.

It’s fine for bears. I’d use it for whitetail, bears and maybe bighorn. Wouldn’t use it on a moose tho it’s pretty solid
