My in-laws live in Kaufman County, so “Is that in Texas?” had me ROLLING. 🤣 Also, as a native Texan, I’m thrilled to have you two here! You fit right in. There’s an old saying, “I’m not from Texas, but I got here as fast as I could!” and I think that just goes to show that there’s just something about Texas that people take to, even if they’re not from here originally. I thought it was silly that Tanner said he’s not a Texan - Sure he is! He moved here, established roots, and calls it home - Of course he’s a Texan! ☺️💕

We are in the caprock in LBK 2 hr south of Amarillo we live on the edge of the caprock and right near Amarillo is Canyon where you’ll find Palo Duro Canyons: 2nd largest canyons system in the US. it is FLATTER THAN FLAT HERE. We can see for miles and our dust storms (haboobs) are insane. But in Texas, you have the ocean, mountains, greenlands, forests, canyons, dessert, and caprock

When we moved back home to LBK after living in Tulsa for 5 years I cried. Tulsa was so much like growing up in VA and FL and Alabama with trees. My husband said: if we live somewhere beautiful how will we appreciate the pretty places we go? It made me so mad at the time but he couldn’t have been more right. I appreciate all of it already and you can’t beat our sunrise sunsets

The reason we have the biggest skies is because we are so flat! Nothing to get in the way! One day I am going to make it up there to see y'all! Stick shifts are hard! I can do it but don't know why anyone would want too!

Texas has 91 mountains, and a grand canyon half the size of the Grand Canyon. Thirty-eight percent of the state is forested. You have to narrow your statements to DFW. People lived in DFW without air conditioning and worked outside.

I moved to texas 30 years ago and I still don't get used to the heat, i still sweat like crazy. You guys are in the nice part of texas, try coming to the border towns 😅Laredo is hot as hell, there's nothing to do and most people are mean 😅😅😅 and writing this makes me wonder wth am I still doing here 😅😂
