Too much sweet food is actually bad for them. Red Pandas in captivity suffer dental problems because of this.

@Katherine Uribe Hey there!!! This is so cool. I'm now trying to remember the names of the red pandas i knew.. Mmm...panda Jane.. Duane? (Duaunde) ..and an oldster ...maybe Henry. They are so hard to "read" ..until you get to know them. Their cute "innocent" permanent smile face expression does not change much whether they are happy angry scared etc ...they just look eternally "cute". ^.~

I am a sloth lover who has recently fallen in love with red pandas! The word panda is from the Chinese word for “bamboo eater,” which is why they share that name with the bamboo loving Giant Panda. They are so adorable! 💟

The National Zoo is my local zoo and I have spent many enjoyable.... likely hours watching Mochu so it is so nice to see him well cared for.

JS Red Pandas are considered as Vulnerable by the IUCN. They aren’t extinct

Red Panda are very cute creatures and you can see them in a beautiful spread out kind of open Zoo near Gangtok. They are state animal. That Zoo has some rare animals like SNOW LEAPORD and some most COLOURFUL PHEASANTS. A must visit Zoo for wildlife lovers.
