It always comes down to the price. The K5 is a great bargain. I love my 2022 Stinger GT-Line.

Kia has always been 10 years ahead on the tech department. My 10 years old Kia Quoris V9 had tech that my 2023 BMW x6, 2021 Volvo XC90, and my 2018 Range Rover Velar (Velar hidden-door handle was dope tho) dont have. Till today still my most advance tech car Ive ever owned.

The K5 is better looking from the front. The back of the K8 looks very Audi-ish. Too bad they didnt continue the Stinger. That was Kia's best looking car IMO.

If they didn’t overprice tf out of the stinger it would’ve have met the sales they wanted to meet. They made the base model 4cylinder a $40k car and no one is paying 40k for 4cylinders it was honestly a $25k car and even then it wasn’t reliable enough. The stinger had so much potential

True. This looks like a mix between a G90 and a K900. Very nice and just below the high-end luxury cars with memory seats in the back as well. It's way nicer than anything Kia sells in North America. It's weird how Hyundai and Kia make super nice cars and don't offer them to other countries.

@@redsiifu nobody is paying for $40K for a 4 cylinders. That's the biggest lie I've ever seen. Type R and Type S are both 4 cylinders. Audi S4 4 cylinders and those cars are way more expensive.

@@i.d.6492 True, but I think he meant a 4 cylinder Kia with not much performance. It’s pretty expensive. I have the 6 Cylinder GT and I paid almost 60k. Definitely overpriced. $40K would have been more reasonable.

This is a gorgeous car, probably what the Cadeza could of been. Although some of the touches feel like Genesis territory.

I had a 2021 and have a 2024 Elentra N line, and the back end is VERY similar. The screen and cluster layout are the same. The brake and gas pedal are the same.

Very nice! Too bad they won't offer it with the Stinger's engine. Love the fact that they designed the digital instrument cluster to allow an analog gauge look. Why many other car manufacturers don't do this is beyond me. The only negative is the way overdone 'diamond' theme....too much.

At first glance it looks like it shares the Telluride's instrument cluster and infotainment display. It certainly has the ability to turn the exterior view 360 deg. and overhead like the Telluride and Hyundai Palisade.

Nice to put some distance between the headlights and the indicators. One some cars like new golfs the indicatorsignal is hard to see on a distance, forcing me to wait more, reducing efficiency in the traffic

Kia's new design language is so awesome, and they have really been making some big moves making truly nice cars to be in. I just hope they can fix their reliability problems, and then fix their public image.

Only a min in here, and my initial impression is that the Stinger was/is a much better-looking car from the front and from the side profiles. The grille on the K8 is so over the top, and it does not need to be that way... Now see the rear, and this looks like a K5 from the back. Going back to the Stinger, the rear on that car was different, muscular, elegant.

eu viajava na maionese quando morava no Brasil, esses caros.nunca chegarão aí. e seeee chegar é pra.um público da pólvora grande, aqui em Panamá se compra carro de luxo por preço de Kwid aí, claro que digo em poder de compra. brasileiro sofre, aqui em Panamá estou com um cooray da geely carro fenomenal por preço de Onix aí. fora que o luxo é incomparável. ai vcs só tem resto. infelizmente é isso.

I agree - Ive owned a '21 K5 for 3 years now and it blows away my previous 528i and Accord; Qiet, fast (4 cyl turbo) comfy,, 40mpg on I5 , many positive compliments!

This would work better as a hatch like the Stinger. Also, get rid of the fake exhaust ports with down firing exhaust tips. It is a dumb design. Either have the exhaust tips come out the back ports or do away with the fake ports.

But, you can not even compare the two! Nice car, of course it is a way cheaper as well and on the other hand this is exactly a BMW copy! Seats, cocpit, the whole style! Anyways only AUDI A4 3.0 TDI quattro for me, the best!❤😅
