Organisational tips: 1. Organise yourself know what you are doing. Use a physical planner. Maybe use a weekly planner. 2. Have contacts, so you can get help from someone. 3. Check ratemyprofessor. They sometimes say what you need to do. 4.learn and write the syllabus. Write down what assignments are due when and tests. 5. Make a finals preparation timetable. 6.give yourself a weekly homework time. 7. Ask your professor for topics on the exam. 8. Print out your notes and resources which are helpful. 9. Make sure you allocate time for each class. 10. Focus on one class at a time. Don't multitask. 11. Do not study at your bed. Study at your desk. 12. Type your notes OR have handwritten notes. 13. Make sure you can understand your notes. 14. Colour code. 15.invest in staples, paper clips to make sure your notes are together.

Great summary, but I think number 11 should be either 'DO NOT study in your bed' or 'DO study at your desk'😅

another thing! if you prefer to write notes but your prof. talks too fast, write as decent as you can in class and then in a separate notebook or piece of paper, write it out neatly, highlight, add some things that you’ve gotten from classmates etc! writing it down a separate time actually helps you remember more and then you can always go back and study the neat and annotated version rather than stressing yourself out over “what did i write” lol

Don't worry fam, I'm just gonna drop this comment I made on another video here because I’m a junior in college. I know this might be late to do this but here’s some advice I wanna give to you and everyone else in the comments from my experience: 1. Please don’t do 8am/9am classes if you know for a fact you’re not a morning person and are able to schedule gen eds in the afternoon/evening; it’s even better if you’re able to schedule online classes 2. Don’t skip class/take a class if you know your professor takes attendance for a grade; in the same vein, don’t let your advisor schedule you for worthless classes if you’re going in undeclared or undecided, like University 101. 3. Don’t buy/rent textbooks from the campus bookstore until after the first week or two; it’s a waste of money and sometimes you never use the book at all 4. If you don’t want to join any sororities/frats, clubs or student organizations and want to focus on school, don’t feel bad! It’ll also save you money and time for things like working outside of class, self-care, homework, etc. 5. PLEASE DON’T PROCRASTINATE ON BIG PROJECTS THAT YOU HAVE TWO MONTHS OR THE WHOLE SEMESTER TO DO BUT DO THEM IN A WEEK OR LESS, your grades and brain will thank you later 6. Don’t go out and blow money on five thousand notebooks and binders (unless you're an organizing nerd); do one huge notebook and one binder for papers or do notes on your laptop/tablet with a stylus, whatever you feel helps you retain your knowledge of a subject best. 7. TALK AND ENGAGE WITH YOUR PROFESSORS; I’ve been in many classes, especially gen eds, where no one talks or looks at the professor when they’re trying to talk to the students and no one wants to speak up because it’s a quiet classroom and all attention is on you when you speak. Those professors will appreciate you and write recommendations for jobs and scholarships for you. 8. Use easybib.com for MLA essay citations, it does them for you automatically and one of my high school teachers showed it to us in a college prep class. Been using it for the last three years for everything. 9. Drink a moderate amount of water in a reusable water bottle/insulated cup, carry small snacks like nuts or granola bars (whatever snack you like at home) with you and be careful how much you spend on Starbucks and food in the student union/main cafeteria. If you have that reusable cup and you want to get coffee, tea, soda, whatever, you can also get a discount of like ten cents off your drink usually or have it count as a refill so win-win there. 10. Leave the house at least a half-hour or hour early for whatever class you need to do first if you commute by car to campus so you can get the best spots; if you’re living in dorms or campus apartments, give yourself that same amount of time to fully wake up and get ready both mentally and physically. I hope this helps!

Looking forward to the note taking video in particular. I usually download the lecture slides and import them to an app on my iPad and then during lecture if the prof says something I want to make note of, I’ll use the Apple Pencil to write it on the side on the lecture slide. Secondly, you contradicted yourself, "you don't hear me telling the whole world" yet you said, " I am a freshman at 15 with a 4.11 gpa". Thirdly, that's cool keep up the grind don't quit. Fourthly and finally, I've been a full-time college student by the age of 13 but it was difficult due to having learning disabilities I had to find study methods that worked for me.

@@kenm2595 In 8th grade I chose to take the move on when ready test, not all schools have them though so you'd have to do your own research. If you pass the test you can get accepted into a college (no mater the age) and when I took it I passed it then got accepted and enrolled into a college, then became full-time and continued taking classes. If you have any questions let me know and I'll be happy to answer them for you.
