This was so satisfying to watch. I live by the “have i used this in the last 12 months” rule. If I made it through the whole year, through every season, without using the item, then it has to go.

Since I'm a kid I LOVE sorting and organizing things. My mom had an old cookie tin that was FULL of buttons. I would play with that thing for hours. I love it. While I was watching this and waiting to hop on a team call, I organized my pens/pencils/markers on my desk by color and it made me SO HAPPY, LOL! Can't wait for the fall tour!

LOVE THIS!!!! We got rid of Netflix, so I can't watch The Home Edit. I'm going to need you to make a series out of this! Also, I finally started throwing my laundry detergent cap in the washer after seeing you do it a hundred times and.... you're brilliant! I know I’m late to this party, but I’ve only just found The Home Edit. I absolutely love what you’ve done here. There are two categories that I could never organise by rainbow: writing implements and books. My daughter is more likely to choose to just work with pencils, or markers, or crayons, not all three types at once. Therefore, I would store all the pencils together and sort them by rainbow, then store all the markers together and then by rainbow, same for the crayons. Books should never be sorted by rainbow. Fiction should be organised by Author’s last name and possibly by category (science fiction, horror, romance etc) as well. Non-fiction should be by subject. If it were rainbow it would look good but I’d never be able to find anything.

I love having the serving ware out in use. I’m obsessed with serving trays and platters so I love using them around the house like that because it frees up cabinet space plus you get more use out of them and then if I have a party, I’ll just wash it and use it for food!

Organizing makes me happy. So good you’re doing this! The first thing I did after I watched the shows was my closet! I have a 🌈 in there and the neutrals are together. Today I did the coat closet! This is the coolest thing ever! 😊 thank you!
