Yes to more mits! Every baby is different, ours is a face scratcher and we definitely have had to stock up on the mits. The goumi ones from target are awesome and don’t slip off as easily as others. Also, just a tip- the play mat is super cute! We also got a cloth one, but for us personally we realized 1. It wasn’t padded enough which our little one hated 2. Babies spit up and drool and a cloth playmat just wasnt practical. We ended up getting one from Gathre which is faux leather and SO much easier to wipe off and it has memory foam and she loves how comfy it is! Just our experience, everyone is different xo

Mittens tend to cut circulation and if your baby has sensitive skin it can add to eczema. You can always opt to use socks as mittens if needed.

First time moms are so cute! 😂 Yes, better to be early and try to be prepared. My baby came a month early-totally unexpected! Hospital bag? What was that?? 😂 Enjoy the closet-it won’t look like that after baby is born. A & D is the best butt cream for baby - love that stuff! The baby will LIVE in gowns/sleepers. Minimum 14-21 for one week. Reading to your baby is awesome-teacher here. 😂 Never to early to start! Loved being in my rocking chair with the baby and reading. ❤️

So organized love it so much. I'm not going to lie this video made me emotional 😭 I feel like just yesterday I was organizing my son Julian nursery now he will be 7 months Friday. Take in every moment ots so true it goes by so fast. Thank u for sharing this with us. Can't wait to see the whole nursery 🥰 P.s u can never have enough sleepers. . . Yes to more mitts. The babies chew on their hands like crazy. You’ll find yourself constantly switching them out. Even the sleepers with built in mitts, so you for sure didn’t over due it with having a lot on hand. Best of luck ♥️

I'm due may 31st and I already have the bassinet up and all of baby boys clothes, blankets, towels, wash cloths, burp cloths, etc all washed. Just so ready for him to be born! Also congratulations on your pregnancy you look amazing!

Mitts are very short lived phase. Use socks as a substitute.

I feel like your pregnancy is flying by! You look so cute! He's going to be the best dressed little boy. For the mitts, I would say don't buy anymore. They end up falling off, baby socks work 100% better because they stay on. Also they don't cut off circulation. Your doing amazing! ♥️

So for mits, we had to put them on my baby every day for about a month. Her nails even though short, we're SO sharp and she kept scratching herself. If they are on the sleepers though you are probably fine- when they are that young you often don't put them in much other than sleepers and onesies.

Never used my bottle warmer (all my friends say it is useless...) use a jug of nursery water room temp.. wipe warmer, changing table 2x, useless, you just find a place to do it... you have great ideas but when you are an actual mom it doesn't make sense...I thought I needed a bunch of this stuff and it was all vanity... and no practical things...

I am due May 5th and I feel the same way! I made sure I had everything done in March so I can relax in April. Currently 2 cm dilated too!

I would definitely recommend a few more mittens. We like the nurses choice brand through Amazon. Perfect sizing and never falls off! (Mom of six) But we absolutely need to know where those sleepers are from because they’re so cute! 😍

My sister is going to give birth around two weeks and I'm 12 but I loveeeeee organizing so I organized all of the baby stuff and it was all aesthetic so when I saw this I literally threw my phone cause I was so excited ❤❤

Soooooo cute!! Can you come organize my nursery now 🤣 Also, here’s a tip that totally worked for me! With his dresser, each drawer was a certain size. So one drawer for example had NB onesies, pants, and sleepers. And same for the other sizes 😊

The mittens cut off there circulation if they have chunky arms,or the fall off . I just use sleepers with mits

Ik you’re having a boy but night gown sleepers make it so much easier to change diapers in the middle of the night…also more mitts it’s just to prevent scratches….also another tip for male babies if you use a cold wipe and wipe the lower part of the belly before you remove the diaper it helps them pee to help prevent accidents…just a tip

Long as u keep a baby file n keep his nails down the 2 pair of mits will be fine but always get more so u have a pair in ur bag on him next to the bed and in his swing or play pin bc u can always loose them just keep those nails down bc those scratches hurts n I hate when a baby cries I get all mushy

I would keep sleepers or whatever babe will be wearing the most in the newborn days in the dresser where the change pad is. There will be lots of accidents in the middle of the night and while changing him.
