In this video you'll learn how to make an origami Duck. This model was based on my old duck and flamingo. From the old duck I copied only the idea to make the beak color change, but it also worked nicely to provide some extra paper to make the flat feet. The body is the same from the Flamingo, which I liked a lot because it's well locked and has a nice shape.

I can't explain it but doing origami is such a peaceful and calm experience. Recently finished making a Robert J Lang scorpion that took me like 4-5 hours and I loved it. Hope you have a great day Jo and the duck model is perfect 👍💯

I’ve recently been trying to branch out to other origami KZfaqrs, and I gotta say, Jo is probably the best of them all. He goes slowly, and has instructions in the top right that are easy to follow.

Cuando sale bien el modeló pero cuando no entiendes te da un frustración pero la práctica hace al maestro. Pero si es muy relajante.

@@origamistars1992 oh, sí, por supuesto. Una vez al intentar hacer un dragón, no sé cuánto tiempo estuve tratando de descifrar un pliegue, no lo entendía y al final era sencillo, solo que no lograba entender el movimiento. 🥴

If you wanna be really impressed look up models like the origami Ryujin 3.5 by Satoshi Kamiya, origami Lich King by Nguyen Tuan Anh, or even Snack Time by Robert J Lang. all of those models are folded from a single, uncut square of paper.

I really appreciate that you show the upper right hand corner fold instructions - which are so ambiguous to me when I see them in a book. I really don't like origami printed instructions as a result. The video will hopefully make it easier for me to follow such instructions after going through enough of your videos.

I have only just recently started looking at your videos and I have to say, I am really amazed how you can do and design all of this. So far I have only finished 1 tutorial 😅 but I’m working on this duck I’m kinda stuck on the legs. Any tips? Edit: I got through the legs but now I’m stuck at like 21:14 I ripped my paper trying to do it 😢
