Atumma was badass in Wankanda Forever. I wanted to see more of him.

I saw him for the first time in an episode of Marvel's Avengers Assemble. He gave the Avengers a really hard time and made Hulk push himself as far as I remember. He was a formidable foe and I'm excited to watch him in Black Panther.

Attuma is sorta like the Marvel version of Ocean Master. But he’s not related to Namor.

Dude has a dark origin. But it’s fitting, great backstory.

Attuma reminds me of Thanos because not only is he a skilled warrior who took on the Avengers, but he's a real force to be reckoned with. I hope namor shows up and fights him in wakanda forever.

Attuma is one of my favorite obscure Marvel characters. I'm so happy they're bringing him to the big screen. This is gonna be fun!

MAN! So much of the MCU has picked "Firsts" from my comic book history. Like "the Avengers teaming up with the Guardians to fight a god-like character" which was a multi-issue story from 1978 that also featured the Collector. That was the first Avengers story I read when I started buying comics regularly. A two years before that though, I bought issue 154, the only other Avengers comic I bought between 1970 and 1978 and Attuma was the villain in that one. It's amazing that so much of what was new when I started buying comics regularly, like Scott Lang Ant-man, Moon Knight, even El Aguila's cameo in the recent She-Hulk show (El Aguila was in the first Power Man/Iron Fist comic I bought). The late Seventies was a high-point for Marvel. It ended when half of their best creators got pissed at how Jim Shooter was running the show and went to DC Comics. That really helped DC. Most of their comics were pathetic before that. Some of those that jumped to DC created the New Teen Titans book.

Attuma is a True Believer creation off authors Stan Lee and Jack Kirby of 1964. Attuma is now 60 years old in 2024. Attuma is a barbarian & warlord from Namor.

Hopefully Marvel stops introducing one-off villains, would love them to show up in future movies like they've done with Loki and possibly a team-up against the Avengers or X-Men

dr doom isn’t showing up anytime soon. even if he did show up in wakanda forever he wouldn’t have a important role probably just an small appearance/cameo(not like thanos in guardians of the galaxy)

At this point I don't see the MCU having a true big bad for years, which is sad. Namor casting choice is so miniscule compared to this potential villain. They'd have to tone him down for Namor to have a chance or look believable
