Depends on what sort of necromancy lore/justification Restoring a soul to it's original body to allow it to live on past it's time? Bad. Raising a corpse temporarily with a random soul to fight and serve you, where the soul returns back to the void/realm/whatever you wanna call it? Sounds good to me

Rob, Charles Xavier died like three times and came back before the death of superman comic now that comic (Superman)was far more dramatic because of the year long commitment to his death, but none the less I would think how many times Charles Xavier died cheapens comic deaths. When Guy Gardner becomes the embodiment of Willpower and go against Sinestro whose super charged by Parallax and wins, let me know. Till then, Hal is known as the best Green Lantern with the most willpower. Doesnt mean he would be the best man to LEAD the others though.

When he talked about the scarred guardian it reminded me of one that showed up in green lantern the animated series named well Scar her story is very close she does fight the anti montor in ep 20 and survived wounded but disappeared at the end of ep 24 but in the same episode at 18:44 their is a black book with the black lantern insignia on it in her lab didnt know if this was intentional or a coincidence but I to think that if the series wasn't canceled we might have seen the black lanterns in more media

bizmonkey007 I had an idea: We pick up with Ryan Reynolds seemingly Hal Jordan again, waking up from a nightmare, only for us to realize that he is Guy Gardner! The whole first movie was him dreaming about what it was be like to be his rival. So we have Reynolds with his hair dyed red and sporting the leather style uniform. Someone else plays the real Jordan, but we get the same actor playing Sinestro, (hopefully; he is PERFECT). We solve everything in a humorous way and we can proceed from there.

Black Hand first appeared in Green Lantern (vol. 2) #29 (June 1964) he was always second string so when he was tapped to become the black lantern it was a huge twist

This one , I'm calling your bullshit. While I did collect comics as a very young kid in the 80's. I did stop until recently, but my two friends collected comics their entire lives. I remember joking about Optimus Prime coming back to life and then I remember the conversation going into OTHER Marvel comics and how they laughed about some characters that they knew kept coming back. I don't remember which ones, but they gave tons of examples. They might not have been Superman "famous", but they were noted to dying and coming back in some hilarious way.
