Excited to learn the details of the evolution of the UNS and the problems it solves. Great video to ingest into BARD and extract project ideas and other cutting edge information for my automation classes at Penn College. Who needs stale college textbooks?

Back in 2003 I used an instance of RSLinx, classic to develop a similar type of architecture over ethernet using DDE the purpose was back end data exchange between the water treatment plants, distributed control architecture using Rockwell PLC5 redundant processors, 26 of them to be exact which consisted of 13 local nodes, as only one processor is primary through the BCM, RSLIX allows for alias topics between redundant pairs of PLC5. Where as SCADA only has data from the primary at any given point in time. All this was connected through Microsoft excel OLE connector for process control... I still use it to this day. Yup still running PLC5 -20E … Agape Walker

The structure of the business and all of the events Single source of truth for all data and information in the business (not system of ownership) The place where current state lives The hub through which smart things in your business communicate The architectural foundation of an Industry 4 and Digital Transformation Initiative (strategy) I think you struggle with the difference between MQTT Broker and UNS. 🙏
