3055 is decent transistor have ft rating 3mhz but issue is in India board available are fake transistor and low voltage rating . it good for bass kit amplifier . i not fan 5200 , 3773 , 5200 class ab amp . i like Mosfet base amplifier .

I had 4 original 2n3055 transistors, i wanted to make npn transistors power amplifier. But there is no pdf file in the given link.

Yep a lot of the old transistors are genuine. That is why I pull transistors from old motherboards anything I can pretty much get my hands on I pull them test them and then use them. A lot of the new transistors are fake. And they do not produce the power that the old transistors do. One of my friends at peavy electronics said for about 20 years companies have been making fake transistors all around the world. So if you can find Old stock transistors would be your best bet if you want a genuine transistor. Peavey parts still have some of the old transistors in stock. So I tend to buy parts from them when I need a transistor. Peavey parts usually uses different numbers for their transistors to set them apart from others. So that's how I can tell the genuine ones from the fake ones. Look up the data sheets and then look at the numbers on the transistors that's another way you can tell that they're genuine.👍 Note you will pay more for a genuine one but it will last a whole lot longer than a fake one. And genuine ones have a cleaner sound quality. 😁 And when it comes to capacitors I try to only use nichicon capacitors.
