Memory Turn your face to the moonlight Let your memory lead you Open up, enter in If you find there the meaning of what happiness is Then a new life will begin Memory All alone in the moonlight I can smile at the old days I was beautiful then I remember a time I knew what happiness was Let the memory live again Burnt out ends of smokey days The stale cold smell of morning A streetlamp dies Another night is over Another day is dawning Daylight I must wait for the sunrise I must think of a new life And I mustn't give in When the dawn comes, tonight will be a memory too And a new day will begin Sunlight through the trees in summer Endless masquerading Like a flower as the dawning is breaking The memory is fading Touch me It's so easy to leave me All alone with a memory Of my days in the sun If you touch me, you'll understand what happiness is Look, a new day has begun

So moving. The lyrics to this song are, of course, absolutely heartbreaking, but the actual music was always a piece that didn’t need lyrics to express the emotion, the journey, the realization and the grieving and mourning that comes with it. There are some songs that I prefer no human voice, not even the most beautiful voice, I just want to hear the instruments sing and feel the chords and the strings and the keys and vibrations and energy build and die and resurrect- sometimes the human hands are more powerful in music than the voice. And this is one of those songs. And I mean no ill-will to the original nor to the lyrics or any cover with lyrics, it is truly a beautiful work of art in its full form, with lyrics, with a voice. But for me personally, this one was just more powerful and more emotional without the voice and the words sung. Which just verifies the brilliance of it all. I’m not able to say the same for even just a small fraction of the music I love, the pieces I cherish that are without any words or voices, they usually never had words or voices outside of a title, it’s not too often that there’s something like this, where the music created for the song and the intent of the song and the words that the song was created for, ends up being so absolutely haunting and heavenly that I need it both, with words and without. Very rare, for me. But it does happen I think time to say goodbye does that for me as well, while I love the song in its original intended form, lyrics and voice along with the life bursting in the choir of notes and instruments, to have the ability to play only the voices of those instruments and leave out the lyrics and the singing of man’s voice is a blessing each time I get the inspiration to play it again. I still adore the original. But that particular song is powerful , even more so, without words. And that’s what I feel with this one. Always have. So finding this was huge gift. It makes me feel like someone found a way inside my mind, inside my heart, and saw the way it plays in my dreams, the way it plays in my heart when I hear it, the way I dreamed of being able to bring it to life one, hearing this feels like you somehow saw inside and heard the song I always dreamt of and brought it to life, brought it into the world. What a talent. What a gift. I believe that the talent of those soothing voices, the ability to find and see the next move and hit each note after only a sample of a listen, the gift of being born with a natural ease and understanding when it comes to moving one’s fingers, one’s wrists, each tendon, muscle, nerve, in total control and able to fall into the flow and rhythm of the music being brought to life- I believe that such gifts and such talents are especially important and valuable, and of course, beautiful. *BUT* I also believe that there’s another gift that gets overlooked so often, one that seems to only be recognized by accident, or when it goes hand in hand with those other gifts and talents, but I’ve seen it myself and I’ve heard it. There are some people that feel everything so intensely and so deeply, it’s almost a curse rather than a gift, but they find the way to channel everything they feel, all the emotion that they channel from the world around them, they just have this ability to know, to know what should go with what, what sound should flow here, what needs to be added, what needs to be a whisper, they can take a beautiful song and turn into witchcraft, for lack of a better word. Turn into something that mesmerizes everyone who hears it. And they don’t always have the voice themselves, they don’t always even have the flawless gift of making instruments sing the way that the world has grown to be addicted to, but what they do have is something that is able to bring to life and create the music that no else hears, but that the entire world desperately craves and needs. I had someone in my life that was like this. He could play, he could sing, but it wasn’t anything more spectacular than the next, but his gift was in creating, hearing a song and, in the same way a world class chef might take a taste of a sauce that a restaurant serves and immediately know what this sauce needs to be amazing, to be perfect, to bring it to its glory and to be the best sauce this restaurant serves, while everyone else tastes the sauce and they’re happy with it, this chef tastes the sauce and can’t help me taste what it could be, can’t help but taste what he could turn it into and what it could become, that is how this person I used to know was with music, a song would play, and it would be another fill in type of song, a single released for the sake of releasing another single, the people will turn it up because it fits the formula, and because we turn up what the radio chooses, it’s just what we do, and we’ll enjoy it to one degree or another, but he would hear something else entirely, and when it was a truly special case he would become almost mad with this obsession to play and bring to life the song his heart and soul seems to remember but that his mind can not, but that this bland and average song on the radio triggered in him. Almost like a nostalgia, a nostalgia for something moving, inspiring, something that he knows if he could just hear it once would fill him with every emotion he’s ever felt. He was almost remembering that which he would end up creating. It never existed before he creates it, but in a way it did, because that’s his gift. He hears something else that we don’t and he brings together this and that - like the chef with the sauce from the restaurant he knows what this could be and knows the spices and herbs and creams and stocks in his pantry that will turn this sauce into a masterpiece. Only his pantry is full of the pieces, the hooks, the chorus’s, the Melodie’s and notes and rhythms he’s saved all his life , each time he hears another one that triggered that response, he’d save it, save until he found what it’s purpose was. He would create music that felt alive, and he’d produce it, he’d produce it from the ashes of forgotten songs and memories. It was magical. I wish I had those songs he created today. Those are the talents, the gifted ones that I find most important. They can create what others can’t. And that’s what this reminds me of. It reminds me of him. And his gift. Thank you for that. 😊

Ranek Błyszczy rosa na liściach Przemijamy srebrzyście nierealni jak sen Choć ulotna jak blask księżyca czekam na wschód Chcę powitać nowy dzień GRIZABELLA Pamięć Co oznacz dziś dla mnie Tamto gorzkie zerwanie Co zamknęło mi drzwi Taki los to samotność znacznie gorsza niż śmierć Chcę od nowa zacząć żyć Wspomnij Moją dawną urodę, Moje grzechy za młodu Proszę, wybacz mi je Co bym dała, by znów przez chwilę być jedną z was... Wiem, jak pamięć chce znów żyć Płyną dni Samotne dni I ranek pachnie chłodem Lampa gaśnie I oglądam właśnie Jak dzień się budzi nowy Ranek Obiecuje mi słońce Obiecuje mi życie Nowy los, nową twarz Noc odpływa, a jej wspomnienie znika jak sen Tak bym chciała cofnąć czas Tak już jest Raz noc, raz dzień To wieczne przemijanie PROMYCZEK I GRIZABELLA Świat się zmienia Dręczy głos sumienia To w nim jest wieczna pamięć GRIZABELLA Dotyk Daj mi życie przez dotyk Miłość może uzdrowić, Lub być zimna jak śmierć. Kto mnie dotknie, Ten pozna sam, czym szczęście ma być Spójrz - to wstaje nowy dzień

I think the instrumental makes a beautiful backing track on its own, which is the beauty of such music. Is this arrangement made with narration or artistic youtube creators in mind as well, if this is a case of distribution for creative purposes? You know, the ones who know KZfaq won't pay them, so they use Patreon.
