Welcome to the Original Lowrider Super Show Las Vegas 2023 coverage! This video marks the furthest I have traveled out for a lowrider show, so what location is next? LOL Anyway, this took place over at the Mandalay Convention Center and what a trip. I didn't make this trip alone as this was a road trip with my very good friends Angel of Angel One Magazine and my bro Joe a.k.a. DJ Funk 1503 (photographer and editor for Angel One Magazine).
I haven't been to Vegas in years, I believe the last time was sometime around 2012/13 so to be back was exciting, especially for a Lowrider Super Show. The trip over was good, it didn't feel like the 3-4 hour drive that the trip usually takes. Once arriving, it was showtime! We all had our gear ready to go and before you know it, we were inside the convention center handling biz. We were grateful to Santana Car Club for letting us have a spot with them to rest and leave some of our equipment so that we wouldn't be carrying around so much stuff.
Talking about Santana CC, other local (O*C) car clubs that made it to the show were Showdown CC and Hustler's Life CC. It felt great to see our fellow Naranjeros/Santaneros out this way! Other familiar clubs were: Klique, Uniques, Viejitos, Sons Of Soul, Nokturnal. Quite a few of these were the Vegas chapters so that was awesome to see. Other Clubs were : Amigos, Sumthin Different, the Loyalty Ones, Slow & Low, and so many more to name. Car clubs from Cali, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and more.
Rocking the stage were various artist singing different genres from Oldies, Old School, and Hip Hop. But the main one to be up on stage was B Real of Cypress Hill. I've never seen homie in person and I was really impressed that dude sounded exactly like he does on cd's. Unfortunately I didn't get any concert footage due to the music getting flagged by YT for copyright or else I would've gotten some of that for y'all.
This Original Lowrider Super Show was really quite the experience. We were only there for the day of the show, so it was a mission to head out and be back home on the same day but it was awesome. Will I be back for next year? Hopefully, thanks for watching!
