@@cheesygrits000 Was born in 87 so I missed those times. :( I've had a fascination of music however from as old as the the big bands of the 30s but the very heart of my appreciation is from the late 60s to 1990. The eras, the coolness, the fashion, the people, the love, peace and soul. Real genuine folks. Amazing music, movies, and cultural movements. I really wish I was just there. I went to a Shake Your Tailfeather dance event at a Toronto bar about 12 years ago and inside was like Soul Train except drinks everywhere, low lighting, just really getting in that zone. Everybody getting down to tracks from that timeline. Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind and Fire, Michael. I couldn't believe my surroundings. I was beyond elated to finally kind of 'live' what it was once like. I want to make those a regular thing though. I still mostly listen to old school joints all day. I don't get a craving for newer music the same. I'm 33 lol. Here's a parting gem, family: "We got the juice" by Attitude. Have fun 🙃

I have watched just about all of these videos and everyone speaks so highly of Soul Train! So I was right, it was everything I thought it would be. Fun, exciting and a great opportunity for all involved. Damn I wish I was old enough to have a chance on there but by the time Soul Train fazed out, I was 13.

She was my favorite Soul Train dancer in the 80s. I use to love her. Wanted to dress like her and have that ponytail back when I was in my early teens. Lol . Back in the day Soul Train came on Saturday afternoon at either noon or 1pm and it was some of the greatest inspiration I'M SURE for some of the hot, sexy or crazy outfits you saw out on Saturday night. Lol.
