Originium is like an analogy to every product in the Industrial Revolution that was bad- asbestos, lead, and (most closely) coal. So people's dependence on such a dangerous substance for everyday life kinda parallels or current reality. Good stuff/writing

My guy finally returned. You're pretty much the only actual arknights lore channel i see so its fun to see another video.

Into a perspective, our food is an energy source as well. Cooking is to sterilize, and spice is the preservative or additional sterilizer. Metals, some of it also contains a lot of energy. Probably the most common are fissiles, and Aluminium. We even eat Aluminium sometimes, when having stomach ache. Energy sources come in different packages.

As much as I love this topic, originium related stuff now have barely any weight on newer chapter. I missed the old oripathy, the seclusion and the consequences related of it in the early story. Which is why I love the Rhine labs manga.

The important thing is that Originium can reconstitute after being "burned" for energy and vented in the exhaust. That Originium Storm seen in Vigilo? It's caused by exhaust full of originium particulate vented from landships rising high into the atmosphere, recharging from collecting solar power, then condensing back into crystals that fall back to earth. This can be caused by other means, like that Originium Dust Explosion in the village mine in the latest Monhun crossover event.

Really liked the video, I feel like the one thing that was missing is that Originium polution can also cause catastrophes if it gets severe enough. And the thing about the Originium nuke, was that from the Passenger event? Where bascially Kaltsit rolled up and was like: "Jo, you are trying to invent nukes, I kill people who try to invent nukes, just fyi." (except she used a lot more paragraphs)? or do I misremember that?

Oripathy is basically a life threatening, system-wide, form of Plaque Psoriasis that is caused by what can kinda be thought of as radiation from radioactive ore.

So....Terran vehicles requires roughly same treatment as Tiberium Harvesters carrying Blue Tiberium Crystals(more potent form of the usual Green ones, but also highly explosive), which means stay as far as possible from them while in battle? Noted.

In the current Monster Hunter event, the Felyne scholar argues with Noir Corne that how come people keep on using Originium if it is so dangerous to use, causes disease and make people suffer Noir Corne states that it has become a necessity for people to survive. whatever the cost, means and ends. *People are too damn selfish to give up on the easy life, even if the easy life would lead them to damnation.* I do suspect that Originium is not just an ordinary mineral...I do think it has some kind of sentience. Or at least some vile intelligence. Not audible or perceived. Just there, seeking new hosts to thrive and multiply. I know the community likes to joke about Originium as "rock cancer", but I believe it is more of a *virus or parasite*...and even more morbid is if the same Originium ALLOWS itself to be harvested and used by mortals as an efficient vector to spread around and infect more people and even animals.

well i havent found arknights story particulary interesting, so i stop reading it after about 1 hour o so. there is just too many thing they focus always new characters, the gameplay is the most important aspect. Thats why i found this stone sickness as stupid. Its not visual novel, movie, book or series, it makes little or no sense and is simply too big and complex world.
