This scene shows that Mr. PB is actually not that dumb. He perfectly knows what he’s doing. I always thought that sometimes in the show he was just acting dumb to convince or attract people.

Yeah no. While Mr Peanut Butter is indeed deeper and more layered than our initial interactions with him would indicate... He is still very very dumb. And is meant to be a symbol of the dumb luck that is *also* necessary to make it in the business.

I mean, in season 1 when Bojack was making a complete ass of himself on tv for the apology to the navy seal he suddenly had a bucket on his head and took the attention from Bojack, practically saving him from making himself look bad once more and making others forget about it all together.

I love that they got the real David Chase to voice himself, and play a producer who wants to make a show about a likeable main character that’s universally appealing. David Chase, the creator of The Sopranos, a show that’s known for making characters that are difficult for audiences to get behind. That’s funny. I like that.☺️

The weird part is the producers didn't realised that Eric Stoltz wasn't the rigth actor for the role, despite the fact that they filmed like 80% of the movie. Reshooting the scenes with Michael J. Fox costed 4 million dollars extra
