I grew up Roman Catholic and yeah I do get some degree of comfort from church bc my grandmother who raised me brought me EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY- rain, shine, sick, well did not matter. And high holy days of obligation- so I went more than once a week a lot of times. But THIS right here sends my soul FLYING! There is NOTHING in this world that compares to hearing voices lifted in joyful praise and gratitude to the Lord and Jesus Christ. I struggle to have faith but the reason I’m not just a hopeless atheist is experiences like this. You can’t help but feel like there’s something greater than yourself - something even greater than all these people proclaiming their joy and their gratitude and their love for God. I really appreciate being able to share this experience even if it’s just over the internet. God bless them for sharing this.
