@@strongestnattyever-videos2247 Cowser, Mullins was hitting .094 and was sent all the way to AA (saw him here in Binghamton, NY in 2019), Grayson Rodriguez - the list goes on and on. It's more common than not. He'll be back - he might be 21 or 22 yrs old when it happens, so what? - and he'll be fine.

It's clear to me that Jackson's return to AAA is NOT a bad thing. He'll develop his weaknesses into strengths and he'll be a bona fide stud when it's all said and done. This is BASEBALL. Greatness cannot be rushed. Patience and consistency will get us to the Promised Land.

The expectation everyone had of him was insane. I know he is a grown man but at the same time he's only 20. Still a kid and they shouldn't expect that. I guarantee he spends some time down at norfolk, catches his breath and gets his bearing back and becomes one of the top 25 players in MLB in the next 2 years

You guys are doing your thing and I’m not knocking it, because I love your content and your always positive about Jackson’s struggles, BUT media coverage & social media in general, is exactly what Ryan was talking about. The kid is under the strongest magnification of scrutiny, which has to be a huge weight to burden, no matter how well he handles it.

This is funny I'm a guy I collect or did collect sports memorabilia for years I got thousands of items signed by players for myself. Never sold anything. Their are 3 men I would never forget because of something about Len Dawson and Cal Ripkins eyes and magic Johnsons personality. I just saw you talk and I said that is Cal Ripkin only with darker hair but same eyes creepy close. Then I read the notes and it says Ryan Ripkin omg DNA don't lie. I loved not only that your Dad took time for everyone but he talked to us. I wish you well and I will have to follow your work because you are very great host.

I wonder if Jackson would have had this false start if he'd just come north with the team out of spring training. Makes me wonder about that decision. Regardless, he's going to be the best second baseman in MLB before this year is over.

I haven't seen all of Jackson Holliday's at bats, but, I've heard when Ken Griffey Jr first started out, he had a ruff time on the plate. So he adjusted his batting stance and swing with his batting coach, and you know the rest. I'm not a pro at baseball but i can allready see something minor on Jackson Holliday's at bat. The head of his bat is too close to his head. And he needs more of a momentum to complete a full swing and he holds his bat at more away of an angle to would take longer to complete the swing

First thing that got me excited about this kid was watching his swing that clearly is gonna produce some power once he puts on a few pounds. But then seeing highlights of him hitting it to the opposite field. I didn't see that in Baltimore. Of course he struck out a lot but still looked like he was trying to hit the warehouse.

@@jackspinner4727 Nah. His name definitely brought him some advantages but most major leaguers have kids. I think the last to be picked number one overall was Griffey Jr He's got the tools and a really good swing. Unfortunately he's got a 20 year old mind and that's what needs to change. It will. Better this happens now I’d think. Guys can you do an episode that explains to the young ones how Angelos was as an owner vs other owners. I met Bigsbie one time and he said every other team he played for he met the owner, never once met Angelos entire time on team, said he found it weird that was so. Since we have a new owner now finally id love a breakdown of what the first 30 years of my oriole fandom was like

It’s a weird situation because he’s a dude where you want him up early to get that youth productivity out of a player. He might have an average year next year and still not be ready, hopefully he takes in AAA so he comes back in a year or two.

I remember about a week before he got sent down before his last 2 series in the bigs so far, that if he doesn’t perform well, sending him down will help his development and confidence. Same thing happened with Grayson Rodriguez, and look how good he is now. Now I just hope Grayson’s shoulder inflammation isn’t too serious.
