My husband and I loved it here! The history is amazing and it’s beautiful. But prepare for cold, high winds, and rain. It will come out of nowhere sometimes.

Looks like Rick Steves doesn't age at all! 😄 I must say, I really love your videos! Your way of narration is simply the best! I highly appreciate it! Soothing, relaxing and definitely sounds like a narration straight out of a fairytale novel. The places you visit look so dreamy. This channel is a magic potion for my depression! 🌻♥️

You're just what I needed right now with all the gloom around us. Used to watch you all the time on your original series. Still dream of traveling to Europe some day but right now it's comforting to see these beautiful places. Your voice is comforting right now. Hope you stay safe, healthy and once these shutdowns are passed get out more. Curious if you've ever done a show highlighting just the churches or cathedrals in Europe. My ancestry is Czech, Scottish, German and Italian (with a little Native American thrown in.) Would love to see more castles and churches especially in the Czech Republic! And I never get enough of seeing France!

Though I have seen this clip in the full episode Scotland's Islands, seeing it again at this time of distress gives a ray of hope to the current devastating situation in Europe. Many biologists (including myself) behind the screen opined many theories (unofficially) about a possible biological warfare. If it is true, myriads of hiding infection chains will be difficult to trace out and Homo sapiens may become an endangered species (I will not say EXTINCT because the virus is not virulent enough to swipe off the entire human population) on this earth. If it is a real pandemic the cyclical rythm of the earth will gradually wipe out the contagion in due course of time. Pray to Lord that human civilization continues to exist to witness & appreciate this kind of Prehistoric Beauties. We don't want to live in darkness, we don't want to die young, there's a will, there's a way, let's be free from COVID, let's be free from Conspiracies. Stay Home everyone.

I was scheduled to go this summer! I had a three week trip to Scotland set for June/July, but now that is certainly not possible. I'm now trying to figure out how to reclaim my ticket s and reservation fees. Ugh. I spent so much time putting together this trip and anticipating the experiences. Once things get back to normal, and hopefully everyone makes it through in good health, I'll get there eventually.
