How did I miss this interview until now? So awesome to listen to Orlando talk about his characters and what they meant to him, as well as listen to him talk about his time working on these movies. He's so adorable and nice - he never has a bad thing to say about anyone or anything. Love him!!!!

if you’re referring to the time when he played legolas or something like that, yes he was around 22 and now in this interview he was i think like 40 years old so yeah, obviously, but he also probably made his voice sound very gentle as one would when you’re playing an elf 👍🏼😀 sorry i made this sound like a lecture and it’s completely pointless since i’m three years late to this comment🧑🏼🦯

I think to perform a character perfectly will require a bit of overlapping personality trait between yourself and the role you play. Maybe that's the trait you're hiding from others or a trait you don't like, or something you don't even notice yourself, but deep in your heart you still got that, and that helps you to really relate to the role you are performing.
