Once a major Orlando attraction, now a lost piece of history tucked back in the jungle. Follow along as we trek through rivers, swamp, and jungle to find these hidden springs. This hike took place mid winter, it was raining the entire time we hiked and it was about 52 degrees out side with no sun to warm us up. We faced many challenges, but the reward was completely worth it!
Information regarding the history of the springs was obtained from www.thejaxsonmag.com/article/hidden-florida-ginger-ale-spring/
Springs visited in the video: Sanlando Spring, Palm Spring, Ginger Ale Spring, and two other located on private property.

Hopping root base to root base - exactly how I did it as a kid tromping through the swamps in Leesburg in the 80s.

I, personally, found the volume of the music too loud, a distraction and covering speech.

@@phillipbielefeldthis was actually one of my first video that included both audio from the footage and music.. so it was my first rodeo and it’s something I’ve worked on in future videos. I honestly was t sure if anyone wanted to hear our conversation. Always appreciate the feedback

What about Sanlando Springs. We had our 9th grade grad party there in 66. My family went there often until it turned into a private development. The state should have bought it for all of us

I have a different video of my visit to sanlando, I agree it should have been purchased by the state. The neighborhood does not respect it at all. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bNd3i7OQt-CRYJs.htmlsi=WzmJkvicjG_O2lD7

What kind of mount are you using for your GoPro or action camera? I use a polar pro but I want something I can interchange the base with other items.

amzn.to/40Uc2xH this is the mount I use. I strap it right onto my back pack. It’s a great way for hands free recording.

The state has no idea exactly how many springs actually exist not to mention artisian wells there are.
