🌟 Welcome to our latest travel vlog! In this episode, we embark on an exciting journey from the Premier Inn Bath Road all the way to our stunning villa in Orlando. 🌴
🛄 Our travel day kicks off with a short and seamless journey to Heathrow Airport, where we experience a super smooth check-in process. We're thrilled to be leaving on December 23rd, diving right into the holiday spirit!
✈️ We're flying with Virgin to Tampa Airport, a first-time destination for us. The flight is comfortable and enjoyable, especially for the kids who love their meals! For us adults, though, the food could use a bit of a tweak. Nevertheless, the overall experience in the skies is great.
🛃 However, upon landing, we face our first hurdle - the security at Tampa Airport. It turns out to be quite the challenge, taking us a lengthy 1 hour and 20 minutes to get through. But hey, every adventure has its obstacles, right?
🚗 Picking up our rental car is a smooth experience, albeit with a bit of a trek involving a few trains. It adds to the day's adventure and gets us all more excited about reaching our destination.
🏡 The drive to our villa is worth every minute of the 2-hour journey, quick stop at Publix for some essentials, Let me tell you, the villa is nothing short of amazing! It's the perfect start to what promises to be an unforgettable trip to Orlando over Christmas & New Year.

Adorable little one. Surprisingly energetic after long day. Must have just awakened? Dad and Mom leading the way. ;) In the old days at mco Alamo was actually offsite. You had to take bus shuttle quite aways just to pick up the car. Guessing you’ll not need insomnia helper on this trip. ;). Making memories.

Great vlog! You must of got super unlucky with security at Tampa, we flew into Tampa on Christmas Eve and got through within 15mins!

Great vlog yet again. I’m going in 24 days. My wife’s elderly parents are coming with us, her mother is registered disabled and struggles to walk, we are hiring her a mobility scooter when in Orlando. You mentioned you father in law uses a walking frame. Did you get the DAS pass in Disney? Can’t wait for your next video

Thank You! Bet you can’t wait. We didn’t do Disney on this trip but I think you can get a DAS pass but not sure on the process to be honest. I know for Universal they had to set it up while back in the UK and provide letters etc.

Thanks for watching and following us on KZfaq & Instagram. We had a great time but it was a bit too busy for us. We wouldn't go over xmas or new year again. For our rental we paid £2150 for the villa which also included pool heating.

Great vlog. Really interested in your views on the + and - of flying into Tampa instead of Orlando International. I think a lot of people are flying into Tampa because of the cost but is it really worth it.

Thanks for watching! We didn't have the best experience due to how long we had to wait in security but if that didn't happen then it was great flying into Tampa. It is further away so the drive to Orlando is around an 1hr-1.5hr which isn't too bad really. The airport itself is lovely, very clean, loads of restaurants/ shops. The only other thing I would say that you do need to get on 2 trains to get to collect the car. Its not too bad but if you are traveling with people who find it difficult walking then that could be a problem. Overall, its a great and we would 100% fly from there again, we are flying into Tampa in August and looking forward to it. Only recommendation I would have is if you are booking seats on the plan then try and be near the front so you are off and at security first. Hope this helps.
