Hey Guys!
Our travel day didn't have the smoothest start... not hearing our alarm go off and having to rush into our taxi to get to the airport wasn't ideal.
But arriving on such a beautiful day in Orlando made us forget all about it, we did a bit of shopping at Target to get snacks for the room and ended the day with a Shake Shack dinner.
I hope you enjoy watching, it truly was the best trip me and Dan have ever had.

Thank you Dena 🥰 he was alright actually! He said it went quite quickly and he didn’t mind it at all, only bit that made him worry was landing as it was slightly bumpy but other than that all good!

Eek I’m so excited for you! You’ll have an incredible trip ❤️ Dan did really well this trip there and back, he said with a long haul flight there was more going on to distract him (his first long haul flight) less turbulence on a bigger plane and he thought the seats were comfier so it all helped to distract him xx

Oh my goodness you two are great! This is the first vlog of yours I’ve watched - Dan was so quiet prior to the flight! It was fun to see him to act silly onboard. At first I thought he was a very quiet and solemn person, lol! Really enjoyed watching! Subscribed and watching the next!

Ah thank you 🥰 he takes diazepam, he has it prescribed to him, but if your partner mentions he has flying anxiety to his doctor they should give it to him 🙂

I make sure I pack my suitcase months before I travel 🤣🤣 . I'm off in November can't wait staying in a 9 bed villa with the family. Hope the weather is ok in November. Hope u and Dan had a great time 😁

Fantastic travel day. Gave us some fond memories as we stayed in the same hotel just at the start of may. We pretty much did exactly the same lol. Bought crap at Publix and ordered burgers. Great vlog

Hey Micheal! Thanks for watching 🩷 I haven’t stayed at the Rosen inn international but it’s the hotel we actually had booked first! And ended up having to rebook and chose Rosen inn at pointe because the location was better for us, but definitely worth having a look on maps at what is about, I think the hotels themselves all seem to look the same and have the same facilities! Xx

Hi,may I ask a question ? We have been to Orlando a few times but always had a rental car, but how easy is it to use an uber ?

Of course 🙂 I think it depends what would work best for you. As it was just the two of us and we wanted to be able to have a drink in the evenings it worked for us, but if there was a group of you who didn’t plan on drinking much then it might be better to rent a car for more flexibility. We didn’t wait more than 10 mins for an Uber and it was easy to use the app to book them! X

Used to love travel day it's an adventure all of it's own ,although never had one start like yours did lol ,do you still have to get that is it " esta" travel visa to the states ???

@@crockkett nope we had pre paid 🤣 so got lucky with that one! I’m not sure if he got them from drs or a pharmacy, I’ll have to ask him! But he usually has a little stash of diazepam ready for flights/ when I take him to a theme park and force him on big rides 😂

@@charlotteford Oooooo that was lucky & nice of the guy to persist in waking you up you may have slept straight through & missed your flight ,😴 lol,yes if you could please ,Ooo that's another thing not great on the big rides ,don't mind space mountain & big thounder mountain but you can keep the big un lol 😱

Hi I’ve loved your vlogs, you reminded me of when me and my husband went to hawaii, we was so tired but it took 17 hours flying, a lady said to me make sure you don’t miss the fire works they only do it twice a week, but we couldn’t keep our eyes open so we thought we would have a cat nap, well all of a sudden we Heard these bangs, i jumped up i shouted gray quick the dustman’s here, well he said you silly cow we are in Hawaii, it was the fireworks that woke us, we still laugh about that. Anyhow we are thinking of booking Orlando and we are looking at your hotel, we don’t like to drive on holiday as my husband drives all the time at home, be good to hear what you think of it.

Oh my! 🤣 that’s a brilliant story 🙌 haha honestly it’s always been my worst nightmare I still can’t believe it! D We loved our hotel, we really aren’t fussy and it was pretty basic overall but the location was within walking distance to a walgreens and plenty of restaurants which was perfect for us. We’ve actually booked to stay again in April! You will need to get some transport to the theme parks but the hotel do also provide a shuttle bus, free to universal and I think a small fee to Disney x

@@charlotteford thank you that’s the trouble we love a bit of luxury last time we was there we stayed in a universal hotel Loews royal pacific and we was spoilt loved it, was there for 2 weeks, one thing we must have is comfortable beds as we have bad backs, was they comfy ?

@@syersue oh beautiful 😍 yeah I would say in comparison they would probably be worlds apart. But I found the bed extremely comfy! But if you prefer a more luxurious experience perhaps one of the Disney or universal hotels would be better xx

@@amandaturnbull6547 the day I get dan on velocicoster will be a great and hilarious day 🤣 yeah we really enjoyed it! We were in C block and our view was out to the freeway so not amazing but we loved it anyway. Thought it was great and I would definitely stay there again! Xx

If you are just buying snacks go to Walmart cheaper they’re everywhere in Orlando

We ended up going to the one on Turkey lake for the next lot of snacks and was definitely the better option 🙌

@@charlotteford yes that’s the one we usually go to , we always stay at the universal resorts that’s the closest one there’s also a dollar store right next to it that you can get cheap essentials we are going back for the Fourth of July and are staying at the Aventura resort for a week

@@charlotteford we stay all the time we live in Miami so it’s not a long drive to Orlando but you really have to do it you get early park admission cabana bay has a bowling alley and an arcade inside sapphire falls has a nice restaurant inside and a ferry boat that takes you to the middle of city walk aventura has a restaurant on top of the building that lights up very nicely at night and they all have universal studios store inside the resorts for souvenirs etc it’s definitely the way to go
