Hi! There's no such thing as stupid questions, only stupid answers 😄 I've only done this mod on the aluminium dampers so I'm not sure how it would work on the plastic ones. What I did was putting some black silicone, the kind that comes in a tube that is used to make gaskets and stuff for real cars. I put a small amount covering the hole where the piston goes through and let it dry overnight. Then I took a small needle, roughly half the size of the piston, dipped the needle in some oil and pushed gently through the silicone. The I put the damper back together and not a drop of oil is leaking so far 🙂 Hope this helps.

@@sven-akegrufstedt5092 thx for fast response. So you used just regular silicone kit. I have to try that to then. I have the aluminium dempers to. Its so small though. Maby im thinking wrong though, insnt the friction of the smaller hole/silicone demping the movement and the oil kinda lube the piston to prevent stickiness? Real shock use the flow of oil. But in this scale i cant see oil flow working. Maby im thinking to much. it seem to work great on youre build :)

@@Dragon69FlyTeam As far as I can tell, the dampening isn't affected by the small amount of friction given by the silicone. As long as the pistons don't get dry which they won't it will work just fine. Another tip is that the dampers should not come in contact with any form of oil or grease before the silicone is applied. It's also a good idea to roughen up the surface where the silicone is to be applied with some fine sandpaper to increase the adhesion of the silicone.
