This honestly shows to not mess around with creepy looking things such as old mirrors, creepy looking photos, boards and jewellery things. You never know if somethings haunted and there's absolutely no turning back when you regret it!..

this is almost sad, in a way. seeing him captured in the mirror indicates that she, too, was captured before him. so maybe she wasn't trying to be creepy and murderous, maybe she was trying to ask for help. then got desperate at the end when he closed the door. perhaps capturing him was the only way her freedom would be granted 🤔

I really loved that this ran during the daytime and did not rely on flickering lights or shadows.

Watched it 3 times Very Good! now here's the breakdown of my thoughts you were asking about. Great color and texture throughout. :53-:58 the non focus felt uncomfortable. I love the sheets being pulled off the banister, on the third view I started to think why are they being pulled off? How does that add to the story or is it just showing off a effect you can do? 3:49 great use of iris and vignette for that transition. 3:57 continuing to see the woman ever so slightly in the glass as a reflection was so great. that little detail sold me on the mirror. I always enjoy the little style choices you add to your credits. Again Very Good Job!

This reminds me of a weird dream I had around 10 years ago where there was a murderous ghost that could only be seen in reflections, so I had to carry mirrors around. The ghost kept obnoxiously following me and this nondescript group of incredibly killable redshirt-shmucks around. I explicitly remember being incredibly exasperated and somewhat blasé at the situation instead of scared like a normal person. I woke up that morning and immediately thought, "hey that dream was pretty rad, it could be the plot to something."

Great short , a bit of a ghost tale & a touch of that fine Lovecraft feel . I'm thinking the girl was trapped by the men in the photos he was looking at & she was trying to get free but everytime he turned her away she failed till the end where he closes her out then she had no choice but to finally trick him & he became her & she was free. Great atmosphere of old & new & lest we forget ,don't fool with things that give you that bad vibe or you end up like he did . I felt for her but not so much for him & his absent minded couriousty or those men in the photos that may have been related to him at one point long ago. Mirror tales are always so cool & evil. Very well done ..
