Poch is doing a good job in my eyes. It's taking a little longer than we all wanted, but when you have half a team missing for most of the season, then what do you expect! I'll judge him next season.

I have a terrible feeling the task is done and Poch will be hoisted. We've all gone up and down with him this season but if you look at the entire body of work and the circumstances. Do you all remember the start of this season, when we struggled so much with the low block? It was a disaster, but Poch figured it out and we are scoring goals now. Good goals. Injuries, Mudryk not performing, Jackson sometimes not scoring very important goals, Sterling dribbling himself and bumping into enemy players, ... I am just saying that if we can not get Hansi Flick next season, then there is no better manager out there who will do a better job with these young players than Poch. So, I would rather Pochettino stay for one more season. If the next season is not better, it will cost us less money to sack him, than now. I’d say every team is wide to it already because it’s so obvious, what they can do to counter it is the question. The obvious thing to me is for opposing teams to attack us down the right and attack the space Cucurella leaves, but we seem to switch to a back 3 when Cucurella inverts into midfield

Idk if I’m crazy but I don’t think osimhen can do what Jackson can do, he creates chances out of nothing and links play despite being isolated a lot of the time. I’d prefer to keep him as main st and build his confidence

The next matches are extremely important for us but also for the other two teams competing for the last UEL spot. If we manage to win all the remaining games we may be going to UEL next season.

Im happy with Poch. I knew we wouldnt be brilliant this season and expected us to be very inconsistent. We're not doing too bad. Poch deserves his 2 year deal. I think if he gets us 4th 5th next year sign him up for another 2 years.

He has been incredibly frustrating at time this season, but especially if we win the test of our games I think Poch should be allowed one more year. That weird Oshimen deal sounds great but who is the young player? They’ll probably be trying to pry Gabriel, santos, Hutchinson or whisper away from us. Or maybe Maatsen is included if he would go there? That would be a lot though

For me it's bollox that we are now playing well because of tactical changes. We would have more points and be higher up the league and with the League Cup too if we had been taking our chances earlier in the season. Our expected goals stats were higher than most, with different tactics to the current but that is down to time and confidence with young players and the guy bought to get the goals being out injured virtually all season.... I don't deny we have looked good the past couple of games but the opposition have been poor. Villa haven't been at their best for 4 or 5 games now, Spurs have been woeful of late and had the 3 chances Bowen smacked off the bar gone in it would have been a very different game against West Ham. Again it's reactionary rather than looking at the season as a whole.

It takes time for any team to implement a new managers ideas. It also takes a new group of players time to learn to play with eachother. So we've had a double serve of problems that take time to solve. Maybe that time is approaching.

they need to stop hiring / firing managers. give them time to implement a system and let the players adjust to it and fully understand, practice, and maintain a rhythm. you can't expect players to start from scratch every 6 months and expect good results, especially with very young players.

The one thing Chelsea has not had especially in the last 4 years has been any kind of consistency - not just on pitch results but the coaching staff and even playing staff has changed so much and so often. For that reason alone im poch in for another pre-season and at least another half season to see if he can really develop his ideas after working with the group more. The squad needs a couple additions but nothing major. Second seasons for managers is normally when you see young players take bigger strides in progress... it may seem optimistic but imagine jackson looking prime drogba, palmer looking prime hazard, caicado and enzo being a kante/cesc partnership, colwill and trev becoming a terry/carvalho partnership. LET THE BOYS COOK dont have a huge squad over-hall again

There's not a coach or manager out there could have done any better this season. It wasn't like the usual transfer window where any club adds 4 or 5 players to a settled squad, it was more 4 or 5 players left from a squad. Add to that most players bought were in their first or second season as a senior pro, so little experience. Throw in the amount of injuries, up to at least a dozen out every week and can't train with the team never mind play. Reactionary fans forget the clubs entire medical team was sacked. The state of play isn't on the coaching staff it's on Boehly. Pochettino deserves another season. He has gained the trust of the team, they're taking their chances too and that was the issue for most of this season. A new coach and it's back to square one.

I think the half a year thing is a great idea, but then we come to a point of possible FFP because then we sack him AND hire another. If they bring in DeZ, there is no "process". I've been as critical of Poch as the next guy but if he has turned a corner and can maintain some consistency then he has to stay. Forest will be big test, we have 3 very winnable games left. If we do, then P gets to bolster this team with some experience in the summer and start next season.

A few takes from this.... 1. He did invert Cucu earlier in the season, it went badly and led to Cucurella being benched for months. 2. Why is nobody speaking about Sarri? The young player could be Broja, he is still on the sell list but i don't know if Napoli really want 2 chelsea strikers with our record of n9's. An unlikely but aluring choice for Napoli could be Casadei, a young up and coming italian midfielder with a high ceiling.

I have no problem with the board “demanding “ certain goals from Poch. Every successful organization makes “demands “ from employees in hopes of achieving more. If your employees fall just short of expectations it does not mean you automatically fire them. Personally I just don’t see Poch not getting a second season. I think it was expected that he get this squad playing better earlier in the season but we have been decimated with injuries. Making demands often leads to an increase in motivation.

We're currently in top4 form in our last 5 games. Poch's biggest issue has always been away form. If we win our next 2, it'd probably be best to keep him until the end of next season. We probably won't win any trophies with Poch, but we could also do a lot worse. Hansi flick is an interesting option

I think he will end up staying cos he just hit form at the right time but there are 2 really interesting managers that have done amazing this year which is Michael Sanchez at Girona and also Thiago Motta at Bologna have have out of nowhere got into the top 4 on a minimum budget. Both very interesting tactical managers. We done this last year as well when we should have got either one of Luis Enrique or Julian Nagelsmann. My money would be on the young player being Matos, he's not lighting the world up on loan and he'd be fighting for a place against Palmer and Noni who are both barely older than him. Pochettino returns with a more focused and preset team of consistent starters at least until January. The club has baggage decisions to make on loaned players.
