Obviously there are other techniques here, such as seoi nage, o goshi, some triangles, sweeps, kick defences, etc.. A great introduction for basic self defence for beginners IMHO. Thanks for uploading.

I like how this video describes the techniques for self defense. I'm currently learning MMA, and kung Fu at age 14

This is a sign of a knowledgeable teacher. He teaches rolling to the shoulder where most krav schools do it wrong and teach rolling to the side.

Great tutorial. I would like to know more about your system as I see some variations compared to technique taught through USKMA here in the US. I am trying to work on more tactical techniques than what is commonly taught, especially for knives.

Adam Sandler's 'Don't Mess With The Zohan' must surely have taken some inspiration from Alain Cohen. 'Smell it now take it' :-)

1:23 drives me nuts watching people posting like that when they roll. Really this is all I need to see, If he ever tried to use that he has a larger chance, than those that don't post, of breaking a wrist or elbow. I know a lot of people are taught that way and if there skilled and it works then it works, just not my way of doing it and it really strikes a nerve with me. What happens when one of those hands are being grabbed and held onto. I am very sure that he isn't going to be able to do that roll as well one armed. he didn't post that arm when rolling with the gun why do it without. Well, he posted again when he grabbed the gun from the ground. All I see is a broken wrist.

23:00 whaaat?! Why would you use something that complicated and useless - which also leads you being stuck on the ground. Too much BJJ in this. You've got perfect position for a kick or a knee in the face, so why would you be doing arm lock?! Doesn't make any sense.

There's no bjj in this video

I saw your video. It's interesting ... but I do not see the Internet videos of representatives of other martial arts fighters winning bjj (Brazilian jiujisu). To demonstrate the technique against a colleague in the same martial art in a combined struggle is very easy. Accept the challenge of bjj fighters and defeat them and I will be convinced.

But Krav Maga is not for fighting against BJJ fighters.These are certain techniques to be applied on streets when u are caught.

When in doubt. Bite
@avenewconsulting11187 жыл бұрын
this is a mix , it s not only krav maga, on the ground in krav maga you use the elbow, the knees, you bite.... this is a mix of some krav technics with bjj maybe to make it more complex. If you are in the street you don t want to go to the dirty ground if you are well dressed.
@prizerunner48287 жыл бұрын
There is no groin kicks or eye pokes in BJJ. So if they were to actually fight which this is based on the BJJ would lose all day.
@avenewconsulting11187 жыл бұрын
not sure, many chance of lose but nothing is never sure in a fight, even the best defense in krav maga can go wrong, the first rule of krav maga is going in peace because you never know who is in front of you.

I'm laughing for how bad he is, many many error on the ground specially in the arm bars and knife defence

If you don't fight for position, forget any king of effective hit or submission. This is not ground fight, this is a jumble of semi knowledge.

Here's what I have been noticing with watching Krav Maga technique videos. It's a composite martial art, similar to MMA because all of these techniques are taken from another martial art. But here's the problem. The techniques are being taken and reused with terrible technique. The things that have been taken from Judo newaza and BJJ are being taught incorrectly with tons of very important details being left out. And all of the striking I see is shittier versions of other respectable martial arts. So Krav Maga described in a nutshell, is a collection of techniques stolen from other martial arts, but done with much shittier and incorrect versions of their own. And then throw in some eye pokes, groin strikes, biting, throat strikes, and there you have Krav Maga. At least good MMA gyms teach correct techniques and train them over and over to perfect them. And don't tell me about how the rules limit MMA. Krav Maga is also trained with rules for safety reasons.
some of these videos are very wrong on krav you have to take a class on krav if it is actually krav only military personnel aloud to know that there is a civilian form of it but still you need to have some kind of license to teach it

holy shit I wasnt the only one who noticed this. I took krav and muay thai, and bjj and realized its a watered down version of the original

Krav is not pretty however it is to work. There is a reason why BJJ is good in a ring but shitty on the streets. I have seen many try to go to the ground and get stomped the F out. BJJ can't handle multiple attackers not a tactical pen needless to say knife. All that drawing the person in crap is useless if they got a pencil, pen, etc. Most BJJers won't know shit to get out of it. All that pretty techniques be damned. Krav is straight to the point. They got weapon defenses. Thankfully they don't need 10 years to know what wont work in the street. BJJ lost whatever self defense it ever had years ago. Take whatever you need and scuttle the rest.

I believe it started with a russian man who worked in a circus. He had a good move: a kick in a groin. And there it was born: later it's called Krav Maga. It can work though but yeah tiny details are important. The controle is not 100 percent you can lose it i mean if the opponent is fast he can pull out and the technique fails. I'm busy making a good video. Gonna take me some weeks because it takes time and have to work also. The things is you can show a lot of scenario's but they never tell you how to get there in the first place or work towards it.

I came here to mock krav fan boys. After watching the video I know I have come to the right place. Every single technique is a bjj knock off and every technique was taught comically wrong. Seriously his transition to straight arm bar from mount made me spit my drink out laughing. I do not have time to type out every mistake so I will leave with this. The very fist technique is known as the paint brush arm bar in bjj. the reason they call it this is to help students remember to paint the floor with the opponents hand. to not pry the elbow straight up as this causes little to no pain and will not break anything. this guy taught it the exact wrong way. a perfect example of how not to bent arm bar/paintbrush arm lock. every technique was this bad. dont trust your life to krav maga, they suck at every aspect of fighting.
