WARNING-- THIS SHORT IS DECEPTIVE. The entire interview is on KZfaq. Orson Welles is too intelligent to be easily upset. Also, Tom Snyder was never rude. Someone edited this to create this impression. They grouped together all the laughter Tom did throughout the interview. Orson's look was more more cheeky, or teasing if you watch the interview. This Short is a great disservice to the memory of Tom and Orson. People today just want to incite hatred and judgements in people. They will deceive and lie to achieve this.

Sometimes Tom Snyder played the devil's advocate but he was not an idiot . This was edited this way to make it seem as if Orson was offended but he gave a really great answer and said he went to wear the money and the work was and there was no money and work for him here in America .
@kybercrow

This video has clearly been edited, however... Snyder didn't realize that, by calling Welles arrogant for choosing to live outside of America, he himself was displaying incredible arrogance. That conclusion presupposes that America is the greatest country there is, and therefore, that no American would have any good reason to live elsewhere.

@@zalles There's a lot of younger people who don't know either of these two ... especially Tom Snyder who had a great show and was a great interviewer ... Tom was the best and I know you were trying to be funny but there are too many people here calling him names and think he's a jerk now . Instead it just makes people angry at poor Tom Snyder who was a great human being ❤. Perhaps you could at the very top have a disclaimer explaining this was edited this way for humor ... that way poor Tom who is no longer amongst the living will not be called names ? If this was your loved one here doing the interview , your dad or someone you really cared about , you probably wouldn't find it quite as funny ... where it looks like Tom is deliberately rubbing in his statement with that mischievous smile 😂 .
@gardensofthegods

I agree with you that it is edited ... and misleading to people who don't know who Tom Snyder is . At first I got really mad when I went back and watched that part of the interview . True Orson Welles did not get mad at Tom who sometimes would play devil's advocate . I just think he should put a disclaimer in the beginning or on it saying that it was edited for humorous content . It did bother me though seeing a number of comments by people calling Tom a creep , a jerk or arrogant . Anyway always good to meet a real true fan of Tom Snyder who I miss so much I just thought he was so cool and a lot of fun ... he really did make a feel like we were in his den hanging out with him . I actually remember him doing the local news on KYW channel 3 Philadelphia's local NBC affiliate when I was little I mean like it had to be maybe 1965 , 66 , 67 ... something like that , when I was 7 , 8 , 9 years old ... I think he was there for no more than 5 years . Always so wonderful to see his face and playful character and that wonderful voice .
