I completely agree with you. But in present scenario, if a school announced that children can wear gender neutral uniforms, how many girls will wear clothes which allows their free movement? Skirt and frock obviously restricts girls and they will be again forced to wear the same with compellsion of parents or of their choice ( their choices comes from conditioned patriarchay). And few girls who has liberal upbringing may get the chance to wear sensible clothes, which will result in shaming those girls by other students. Your view is great but in present patriarcharly conditioned society it wont do any good.
