Beileve me you can't compare a cheaper 20$ speaker to a jbl it's water proof , 4xlouder , way more quality build and does skip songs this dude just hit the wrong botton plus you'd be switching that speaker out so many times it would cost you more in the long run

The boots are made of plastic and I believe that they have a weight on the bottom that you and Noah tried.
